What is the best part of working at the company?
The direct support given by the Team Managers quickly acclimate the new members to their roles. The supportive environment and training given ensures success. I quickly rose from a CSR to a trainer of new recruits in the proper approach in dealing with customers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When you get an irate client who refuses to listen and keeps demanding that they should be totally compensated for the problem they've encountered. 9 times out of 10, it's their negligence that causes the challenge of dealing with them. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You have the choice to work remotely or work at the office. Everyone is very supportive and willing to assist you with any challenge that comes your way. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive in time to organize your work station, login and begin taking calls. If you have a difficult call, you can discuss the call with a colleague or your supervisor, once the call is terminated.

The typical work day would be to come in to a nice office setting on a hot summers day and after not working there for some time now i remember all the good memories of when they would bring in new office chairs for all the staff and everyone wanted the same chairs that where in the staff rooms, well it happened, over 200 new high end chairs where brought in for the staff.
The great coworkers that where there. Everyone had great stories and interesting lives, and its a culture that never seems to leave your life after your done working there. I still have close friends from there to this day and i still am asking my friends, what is new at Rogers.

I was with Rogers for over 10 years, in various customer facing and back office roles, but my experience with Pickering was the worst. It was extremely unprofessional, to an extent that employees were encouraged to be unfriendly to each other and customers.It seemed the vision for that site was very convoluted.Rife with minions drinking the foul elixir of corporate politics, only to make sure they take themselves down with others. I would assume the corporate would be a better place to work (i.e. Downtown), otherwise the call center(s) are filled with pocket of black-holes ( pun intended).

It used to be very busy day . The customers calling to know about the new products when there is something new in the marker , that's really interesting and you come to know of the new trends in the market . Learning the new plans to improve the business of the company . It is amazing to work where all the co-workers are cooperative and working as a team makes it success .There was not really anything hard when you get to know about your work except in the first a few days .The most enjoyable part of the job is customer satisfaction .

Working at Rogers I learned what it means to not get hooked by customers. The majority of my time spent at Rogers is listening to people complain and yell about a bill or charges that they never knew existed. Most of the managers are very approachable and there to help, but also very two-faced. In all Rogers is a great company to work for in regards to the pay and medical benefits. Besides that there is no job security and can be very tedious on one's health, but to each his own.

Being it is Bell's Lets talk day, I decided to talk about my experience with mental health at Rogers. I had a breakdown with depression and had my Doctor filling out all the forms for me to have time off. They have a 3rd party that becomes involved when you have more than a few days off. They felt that as soon as you got your pills from the Dr. you were ready to come back full time. They constantly harassed me to come back, making my situation worse and eventually forcing me out.

The most enjoyable part of the job is some friendly and helpful people. Worst part of the job is low motivation in others and political games between departments, teams and within teams.

It was a very fun place to work but there were no job security. I hate to travell a lot so I am thinking to get something eles.
