worst computer system ever, not user friendly at all.
co-workers asked to train new employees were not very enthusiastic to do this job, and were not coached on how to train new employees.

Management does not seem to communicate well with new employees to ensure their success & leaves them at the mercy of which ever team they end up with.   

I enjoyed the actual work I was doing & dealing with the clients.
There were a lot of employee functions provided & various perks, which was nice.

This was the best of all my insurance career experiences and it was hard to leave. I could not tolerate myself or anyone else being bullied anymore though and it was clear that management had no intention of removing the few bullies. They have the potential to be a truly great place to work in the industry but they seem to tolerate bullying quite a bit for a place that claims to care about their staff’s mental health

Nice place to work for the most part. Compensation is a little low but there are some nice benefits such as a really nice Christmas weekend in Kananaskis with a banquet. Also enjoyed the dog friendly office environment and regular treats. There are some issues with certain staff having the freedom to bully those below them but most people at Rogers are more professional than that.

Amazing place to work and grow,  flexibility as well.  left for an opportunity that wasn’t available here 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Tight deadlines occasionally however had a fantastic team to work through these together 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great depending on the team,  could use some work on recognition for individuals

Rogers does try to make the staff feel like they matter. The salary was fine.  The perks they give you are wonderful. Management has their favorites and it's usually not the ones who are the hardest workers unfortunately.  You get to bring your dog to work

Long hours, serious work overload, management does not want to hear about troubles, only wants to know if they are making money.

They declare their values as a fun place to work and work/life balance, but this is not the reality.

The social committee and wellness committee are very helpful in building the workplace a fun place to work. The company also values giving back to the community. Go try out the Rogers Run for L'Arch event in March every year starting 2012, a fun event you can even bring your kids for a walk.

Lots of good people who are always willing to lend a hand when times get tough. The hardest part of my job is determining what markets to approach for the different types of businesses that our clients run.

I had worked as a Commercial Associate prior to moving to a Surety associate and although this was a great place to work  I had been recruited to go to a National company so if they asked I would go back to work with them.
