I first started working at Roger's when it first opened on Mountain Road. I help open the store and open new memberships. I went from Customer Service Representative to Supervisor within a year. Had a great relationship with the employees and the employer. I supervised a team of 11. After a few years we started selling cell phones and soon after that I became Assistant Manager. As Assistant Manager I trained my team, prepared and delivered bank deposits, selled cellular phones, placed orders for confection, accompanied in inventory twice a month and assisted in staff meetings.

Rogers video until its amalgamation with Rogers Communication was a stand alone entertainment provider renting videos from new releases or our extensive library. The stores were large with a corresponding size inventory that required constant attention as to location and quantity.
Customer volume, service and product knowledge created a very fast paced working environment but one that provided a great deal of satisfaction.

This review is kind of meaningless as Rogers video is nomore, none the less good employer to work for. A bit better wage compensation would have been appreciated, never received a raise when I was there, but got free movies, can't beat that especially for a part time job. Only reason I ended up leaving was because I needed a full time job to pay the bills. They eventually closed down anyways.

Great work experience. Staff and management were the best I ever had.

I was given a wonderful chance at advancement and was even promoted after about a year of working there.

Customers were great people for the most part and made it a very enjoyable experience.

Only downside was that the store eventually closed down and I was laid off.

I would do it all again.

As you may or may not know, Roger's videos is no more, and therefore there isn't anything to really review. My position there at the time was a sales associate and like any typical movie rental chain, it provided decent employment till it closed down.

My co-workers were all great people we all got along really well. Some days were really hectic but everyone helped each other when needed. The best part of my job was serving and advising my customers.

Lots of customer service. Face to face encounters with clients. Re-stocking shelves with video's, food, candy. Talking to the public, giving opinions on different move options based on taste.

Great family fun place where we interact with customers. The employees were laid back and easliy approachable. Friendly workplace.

I was very pleased with the company, everyone was like family.
We all worked well together. We were treated very well and all of management did there best to see that we had fun ,and still be able to get our work done for all shipments by the end of the day.
