Roots Youth Care

Roots is a fairly new company and as such has experienced some growing pains. Communication and organization  could be improved but that will come with time.  Management is very honest and open with where things are at and what needs to change. Staff need to be willing to buy in with managements vision, drive and passion. This isn’t ‘just a job’ you are active mentors and role models in the lives of youth, and as such need to be invested in the lives of the youth and company. Overall great place to work with amazing people.  


Roots youth care is a great organization to work for. I am very proud and privileged to work at such a great place. The company has a very diverse workforce. Management is very supportive and seeks new ways to support the youths and Staff.  Roots also have high values and standards with a good pay package, as compared to other companies. Awesome Benefits for employees !!

This is a new company that work with youth in care, management made attempts to help guide staff but often found lack of buy in from staff. Employees often don’t see the bigger picture and often make different choices then expected by management. 

I found the company to be upfront with their growth and experiences. Management is learning and expresses the ups and down of growth quite honestly. Communication is always possible, you really get what you put in. 

Excellent work environment and collaborative activities with youth and management support and training for all staff to delivery task and youth happy to be there
