Working at this establishment during the summer proved to be an experience of mixed satisfaction. The role of a server offered easy earnings, but the management culture presented challenges. Unfortunately, hard work often goes unrecognized, and there's a lack of opportunities for career advancement based on merit, as seniority seems to take precedence. The company's approach to acknowledging dedication and performance appears flawed, creating an environment where favoritism can be more influential than actual commitment to the job. The pay scale is subpar, with limited prospects for progression within the company. The CCM tends to be self-involved, leading to a lack of staff appreciation. Consequently, several management members have left due to this challenging work environment. Those seeking a workplace that values hospitality and provides room for personal and professional growth may find it worthwhile to explore alternative opportunities. The business-oriented approach sometimes overshadows the humane aspects of management, making it less ideal for individuals looking for a fulfilling and supportive work environment.

Luxury golf club, what else do you expect? My silly mistake for assuming my experience working at a place with such quiet walls and credenzas would be as relevant to the tidiness of the floor. The waitlist in this club is 10+ years so needless to say, it's exclusive. As elitist as the members and guests are, the management seems to reflect that perfectly to staff, and is pretty oblivious in showing their difference of skin colour to some staff members.....years ago and still to this day. Pay better, and the atmosphere will change. Dear 'directors', stop looking for problems within your people and take a look at yourself. 

Will expect the staff to overwork yet will not compensate them. Promotions are only given to the favorites even some of them are under qualified. Doesn’t value employees. Lack of inspiration from management since they will let you do their job even up to cleaning up their own mess. Toxic environment and bullying is very rampant. Hours are not stable especially winter time. They will send you home on the spot when it’s not busy. Bosses are very demanding and always do power tripping. Not an ideal place to grow. 

Rosedale Golf Club is an exclusive golf club in the rosedale community.  This private club takes all the measures in keeping their grounds in top condition. 

I would say that this is still one of my all time favourite golf courses I have ever played in the GTA.  

Work started very early before the golfers would hit the course, training was excellent and the management team was outstanding.  I had an amazing work experience with them and would encourage any candidate interested in landscaping to apply.

I was employed on a 3 month contract doing a specific role that was only going to be required for that time. I found all staff to be extremely friendly and welcoming.

You get to serve many high clientele people and have a seasonal menu that they will do a taste testing and explanation when rotated. Pretty chill environment since there are dead hours/days. Biggest downside is there's no room for advancement and also you need to work certain holidays ex Christmas or you will be dismissed. Also everyone has different salaries based on hired date so a server assistant can make more than the bartender. 

Great membership that are a lot of fun to interact with. The management misses most of the opportunities to properly engage staff and provide goals that drive incentive/productivity. 

Not a place that will produce future managers, unless the individual is very strong on their own.

Rosedale is a fun place to work, lovely managers, beautiful scenery.  Employees are encouraged to work as a team. If there are any problems we could always get help from a manager or anyone who is in your immediate area to help you. Overall good work environment.
