Very demanding place to work, as most of the equipment and machinery is in disrepair. The setup they have functions as it has been thrown together with spare parts from a scrap yard making it hard to accomplish your tasks. Its more of a DIY setup than anything professional. Doesnt pay well enough to deal with the aggravation. Winter time is very tough along with pushing unsafe work, im sure they may think about proper maintenance after an incident. 

Roslin is the best, and hopefully last company I have worked for. 

The equipment is pre emissions but very well maintained, so you get the best of both worlds. The workspace is always nice, and being constantly improved.

The dispatch is awesome and actually works with you to get things done in a reasonable manner.

Pay is great, as well as all the benefits with it.

This place chews up and spits out staff of all types and qualifications faster than anywhere else I've worked. The upper, entrenched management offers many opinions but rarely assists in solutions, and in certain cases immediately have buyers remorse when it comes to hirings and implementing new procedures. Training is minimal, and objectives are often contradictory, unrealistic and change monthly. 

Micromanaging upper management prevents anything from getting done. Will promise a lot and not deliver. Poor or condescending communication. There is no HR in this family run business.. which is difficult when you need to address issues. They pay well because then they can treat you poorly and you'll stay.  They give you the bare minimum for sick days (3/yr).

Good knowledgeable mechanic who put in a lot of effort to make sure the units were in top notch running condition. I rarely heard about break downs. He was always pleasant and would explain anything you wanted to know without making you feel stupid. 
Long hours that were just expected and not asked. Decent place.

hardest part of the job is never seeing your family, if you are looking for a short-haul so you can be home every night with your family, this isn't it. by the time you get home, your family are asleep.

Very detail oriented environment, multiple logistics covered from rail to trucks. Drivers work 4 days a week and put in long hours. Drivers do not work saturday and sunday and most runs are day trips. The environment is very results driven and the ability to solve problems is required 

Currently employed there and it's a terrible place to work. Management lies and cannot be trusted. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

When I was hired I was promised straight days and home by dinner time. I was getting home by 9 pm and 2 am. They are upgrading their equipment even though their equipment is prior to 2010.

Bad company to drive for,  not good equipment company dosen't maintain anything. Doesn't care about their employees or about condition of trucks and trailers going down the hwy. Go somewhere else very unsafe company to work for.
