A typical day at work on a rock crusher involves a mix of physical labor and teamwork. Management plays a crucial role in ensuring safety protocols are followed and that the crew is well-coordinated. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the physical demands and the noise level. Operating heavy machinery and handling large rocks can be strenuous, and the constant vibration and noise can be exhausting. Additionally, there are times when equipment malfunctions, which can lead to delays and increased pressure to meet production targets.

On the other hand, the easiest part of the job is often the camaraderie among coworkers. Building relationships with team members makes the workday more enjoyable, and sharing tips and techniques can help everyone perform better. Plus, seeing the tangible results of your hard work at the end of the day can be very rewarding. Overall, while the job can be challenging, the teamwork and sense of accomplishment make it worthwhile.

The typical day at Rowe's is very untypical as you may be working on reports in the morning and then on a flight to one of the remote sites in the afternoon.
The hardest part of the job is cultural because we work in remote communities we hire a certain amount of local workers and their commitment to safety isn't that high.

Long hours without days off.  We worked from May until the middle of October.  The only days off were in the event of weather.  The food in camp was good.  There wasn't any internet and cell service was sketchy at best.  While in camp you are pretty much isolated.  The people I worked with were great and the superintendent was awesome.  He worked right along side everyone.  

Rowe’s is a family owned business & they treat you like family. They truly are there for their employees. Safety is # 1 as my position Food Safe is mandatorily, upgrade is promoting & First Aid as well example my level Two was expiring in 3mths . I was booked in @ Yellow Knife course that same day with course paid, Hotel paid with meal for

Don’t know what you’re doing from day to day, there’s better company’s out there ,  the treat there employees like dirt , tense don’t know when management will come and yell at employees, going to work in morning to see if they’re is anything to do ,  the best part is going home at the end of the day 

I was excited to work at Rowe’s construction at first, but once I was hired, I soon realized that they lie about their work conditions, they don’t keep their promises, they have low pay, the management is poor and inexperienced, and I would never work their again or recommend them to anyone!

I worked there for a year strait doing 12+ hour shifts and was almost fired for showing up 5mins late then got black listed for taking a scheduled coffee break. Knowing the supervisors will help. Very punctual management. 

ok where do i start first off the pay is ridiculous was paid laborer rate when i was operating and the camp was awful they got mad at me and wouldnt let me go back to work for them after i wanted a week off  to see my family even tho i just finished 3 weeks of work no days off between

day was started off by a safety meeting,water truck operations, good work  as well as my co-workers  sitting in a none airconditioning truck, lots of sun ,

I was working as a flag person with Rowes construction. It was long days out. had to deal with the heat and the bugs. But the co-workers were all so friendly and very helpful when it came to getting a hang of the job at the beginning. I enjoyed working there.
