typical day begins at 6am to prepare the restaurant for breakfast service.  If there are any functions, i help get that set up as well.  During breakfast service, i try to maintain a smooth operating floor. -help seating guests, help servers flip tables, and maintain the buffet.

I try to not micro manage my staff as they are properly trained to do their jobs.  When breakfast service is almost complete, my administration day begins-usually around 9am.  Whether it is payroll, inventory, or special projects.  There is always something to be done.

In between administration duties, i usually check up on the restaurant and/or functions, making sure everything is running smoothly and according to brand standards

RCL is a decent job for people looking for accommodation with work in Banff. The job was incredibly laid back and the managers trusted us enough to leave us to finish our daily tasks. With that being said, when we needed help we didn’t often get it and on our busiest days we felt overwhelmed and unappreciated. The communication between employees, supervisors and managers has room for improvement. 

Don't bother applying,  these guys are terrible to work for, they routinely abuse their staff and call it the "norm" there is no time for a proper work life balance especially post pandemic. Upper management pretends to listen to complaints but does little to fix the issue. Hsk mngt lacks professionalism, and will scream and slam doors.

Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge located in a beautiful city Banff is a really nice place where to stay when you are in Winter vacation. Everything is perfectly organized clean and meals are so delicious. It was my pleassure to have a opportunity to work there.

This hotel is not really attractive to work with,poor management,not much more people being professional There is no health insurance provided.

I may not have the best track record working in this establishment, but I can very well much say that it is a good place to work for. The owners are amazing and the managers are understanding and easy to work with. All in all a great place.

The most you will get from this place is a foot in the door to working at a (barely) Marriott property. You'll get lots of work as they are constantly understaffed!

Be sure to keep away from the whistle-blower culture though.

You’ll love working here if you want to be patronised and belittled on a regular basis by management. 
The place is run so badly it’s a joke, and they don’t care about their employees. 

They never cut your hours, even in off season. The management was awesome. A usual day at work is typically stress free and less than 8 hours, but optional to stay for the full set.

Great staff, great benefits, fun working environment, Lots of challenges day to day. Would recommend working here for the experience and culture. Very busy and fast paced hotel.
