I started working at RORS in 2015, and probably have the most to say out of appreciation, as the longest tenured colleague working closely with my manager. 

Began with general task of gluing blanks to be milled, to operating CNC machines and the Robotic Arm. Becoming the lead for several years, to now supervising the whole department, and still continuing to learn and grow with the company a lot.

I improved many skills such as: communication, collaboration, problem-solving, as well as developing the quality and accuracy of my work. I also had the opportunity to lead my team to meet deadlines and accomplish goals and various tasks.

Proving that I am responsible and dependable through consistency, I am fortunate to be entrusted to train new employees for all production shifts, as I encourage them to succeed and help them through challenges.

My responsibilities encompass of internal complicities of fixing the machine, and aligning/tram the spindle head as well, and attending and participating meetings, keeping on schedule to meet certain deadlines.

I am very happy, reflective of my work and efforts, earned consistent increases in responsibilities, wage and securities, JY.

My manager is helpful and very knowledgeable as he can easily handle tasks, troubleshoot various technical situations, and is understanding. He always connects, gets along with the teammates well, encouraging, wanting the best for the crew, and appreciating their achievements. I appreciate his coaching and development, and that he believes in me and my abilities. Now, am also taking on that same leadership, fostering new hires and coworkers, paramount for the growth and future success of the company.

At Royal Oak Stairs and Railings, the commitment to employee development is truly commendable. There is a lot of learning opportunities within the company allows us gain knowledge and skill in CNC Machining Industry. Under the leadership of our motivating and encouraging manager, the work atmosphere remains uplifting, inspiring the team to perform at their best. My Manager allows checks and make sure that everyone is comfortable in working and doesn't have any issues or problems regarding work or management. This is very different from other companies were management sees you only when there is a problematic situation. 

One notable aspect is the absence of work politics and undue pressure, creating a collaborative and supportive environment and increase the overall productivity. The management's dedication to recognizing and rewarding hard work further instills a sense of appreciation among employees. This not only boosts morale but also cultivates a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best. Also, even when sometimes when I was not that productive instead of getting scold, My manager came forward motivating and encouraging that is best of example "how good the management is". 

Out of all places I had worked, RORs is most satisfactory in terms of work, management, other colleges, learning. I would say best place for a new graduate individual to starts the professional career.

Looking forward, I am always eager and willing for learning further roles and aspects of company. With being ready for more challenges and rewards as always.
 Overall, Royal Oak Stairs and Railings stands out as a workplace that not only prioritizes professional development but also prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of its employees.

- I started operating the 5 axis machine for 2 months then moved inside to program the 3 axis machine.
-3 Axis programming is nice, u need to know much about stairs and memorize some standards, also you will have to communicate with the assembly and the paneling team  which is fun. The only downside about 3 axis programming, is that it’s done using SmartCAM which is not used elsewhere, meaning if something happens to you over there you can’t be using this experience elsewhere.
-Cross-training is one of the nice things over there, which solves the issue mentioned above, you will surely be trained on programming 5 axis just to cover incase they needed you there if the main 5 axis guy was off.
-Salary is similar to any other CNC job i would say ( just like the average), u will slowly get more money with time.
- i see people who are doing well advancing, they moved from 3 axis programming, to 5 axis and then did some drafting work.
-honest opinion, overall good place to work and most negative things are gonna be tied to the company as a whole or the CNC job nature in general ( you can’t expect to make 35 dollars an hour doing cnc work, that’s unrealistic). 
- At the beginning the lead supervisor was giving me hard time to be honest, then we became cool.
-Saw some serious anger issues from other departments, but this won’t effect you much as mostly you will be associated with the cnc department only which are cool for the most part.
 
 

Positive work culture, willing team from peers right up to managers on assisting one another. 

Everyone is important, all taking care of their roles fully, contributing to the bigger picture. That is probably the most enjoyable part of the job of seeing it from start to finish. From the design stages, to the manufacturing processes involving forming of blanks and programming to mill on various CNC machines, to assembly and installation of final product. 

Everyone's efforts contributing to pushing markets globally. As far as China, Bahamas, New York, Nova Scotia just to name a few. Continuing to grow and improve.

This is the great company to learn and grow. I started as a CNC operator and with persistent and honest hard work I now working as a CNC Programmer. All people here work as one team and always willing to uplift you and help you if you willing put efforts. With respect to the reward/ compensation it grows as you grow within the company. The managers especially CNC manager is very cooperative and always push you above your limits and encourage you to work upto your potential. 
If you willing to do honest hardwork and want to learn and grow in this field. This is best place for you. Management is very cooperative and works on one thing if an employee is happy the company will grow and so will you! 

Great co-workers, fast paced, stressful yet rewarding environment/experience. Management is abysmal. From full blown screaming matches between department heads to gaslighting their employees. They will tell you to you're doing great but then turn around and reprimand you for not doing enough. Worked overtime/weekends it didn't matter, it was never enough. I Learned a lot and my manager was a good guy. Only good things I can say. Was told to write the company a good review on Indeed. That should never be asked of you by your employer. 

Excellent learning and experience being part of a good team. I learned 3-Axis programming, which I am doing right now. Being a CNC programmer, one work on stairs and make codes for different kind of stringers, treads, landings etc. using SmartCAM. Being a part of good team one can expect hands-on experience on machines and get to know how stairs being made, good environment and support from co-workers. Also, I learned 5-Axis operating which includes setup, problem solving etc. Overall, good team and opportunities. 

New to the industry, had positive training experiences at RORS for CNC operation and programming. Training is in depth and paced to develop skills properly and quickly. The managers are always willing to help and will take time out of their day to help when needed. There can be a lot of changes that happen fairly frequently, which can be stressful for some, so the ability to coordinate and take initiative in these situations is helpful.

It is good place to start working as a fresher. Training is very detailed and hands on which helps you learn better and faster. 
- No crazy hours of work so you can maintain a good work life balance. It does hectic sometimes but nothing a cool mind wouldn’t help you solve. 
- People are friendly and are there to provide an insight incase you face a problem at work. 
- An easy going management as long as you are honest with your work. 
Overall it’s a good place to work as there is always something new to learn. 

Department I worked in, emphasize positive team work. To do your role well and fully. Best in receiving training, hands-on. Where later asked to cross train others to learn more and about self. Cannot speak for other departments as different culture, manager and styles, and approaches taken that are distinctly different if to mention anything otherwise.
