Experienced the dispatch position specifically.  The salary seemed better than average until the company cell phone. They expect it answered day and night (certain plants like Newmarket are night shift only), and you will be expected to go into work at any time lf day if paperwork issues arise. No overtime for hours spent there on weekends or nights. No advancement.

Let me start off by saying that Royal Tank Lines is a great work atmosphere to be in. It’s a small office and everyone feels like family!  Management is awesome to work with and they will always do whatever they can to help you out. This is the first workplace that doesn’t make me dread going into work in the morning. I definitely plan on staying here forever and can’t see myself anywhere else.

Would not recommend this position to anyone. Logistics manager is egotistical, rude, does not respect employees. 
Workplace bullying. In office cliques. Poor training. Expect to be a mind reader. Work 24/7. There a little confused on the meaning of teamwork. Poor communication. 
Most drivers are great to work with. Very helpful and willing to jump to the occasion if they have enough hours.

Chocolate is a different animal. You should be very experienced tanker driver before starting with chocolate. 
Winter time you will learn a lot more.
Good people, very supportive help you with everything. Easy with them.
If you don’t want to get home at a specific time you will be happy here. 
Lots of time out makes the money.
One of the really hard to find company to work for. 

There are plenty of better places to be treated poorly, I suggest one of them. Dispatch is a disaster. Management is obtuse. I will say the guys in the shop were awesome, but that didn’t pay any bills. I am a minority and shouldn’t be treated this way. Period. 

I am looking for a job with a schedule. Royal has served me well over the years but it is time to prepare for the next stage in my life and that can not be done there.

Royal Tank Lines is a great place to work. I've gained a lot of experience and workplace friendships. Management is supportive and very flexible. I would highly recommend working here! 

excellent long haul trucking company. trucks are older but kept save, dispatch is very fare on allocating runs and getting you home for 2 days consecutive for your reset, fair pay

Toxic environment.  If you apply as an apprentice expect to be a herbal labourer.  Fake advertising for the job.  

Shop manager toxic 

Just don’t apply if you’re looking for a career.  

Very toxic shop management. Empty promises. Not even a Christmas card. Clutter. Clutter. Clutter. Lacks required tools and equipment. Unorganized. Decent pay. Easy work.
