Received many different orders/kitchen equipment
Count how many pieces the order/pallet was supposed to have
Learned how to work in a warehouse and in some ways the industry setting
I would say the hardest part of the job was adjusting to a different work environment 
The most enjoyable experience of the job was learning how to pick orders and ship them out

A typical day at work consists of picking orders, packing orders and shipping orders.  I learned a lot about restaurants and restaurant equipment.  Management was very nice and good to get along with.  Workplace culture was pleasant.  Hardest part of the job was keeping busy.  Most enjoyable part of the job was visiting restaurants.

they promise you a raise after probation but they do not
they promise you company,s group benefit,but actually you have to pay by yourself for it.
on probation you have to use your own vehicle but they do not pay Ontario legal car allowance .
when you have a problem in company , you can not find someone to listen
they hire you as an specialist but all you do is labor jobs

This position was at two locations, Edmonton and Saskatoon. Edmonton had a family feel to it, and was solution-based vs. fault-based in error corrections. Learned a lot here, most importantly the kind of management style I prefer! Saskatoon was less so in these counts, but the work remained interesting with some good, fun people there as well.

Working here was extremely fun and beneficial
They were always cross training you, so you were learning new things all the time. management were understanding and helpful. fast paced but relaxed in a way. pay was great and you were given a raise every couple month if your performance review was good.

overall my favorite place to work, sad i wasn't able to go back

Worst Manager, I have seen my peers threatened. witnessed supervisers conspire to fudge the numbers so they wouldnt hav to pay bonuses. Twisting the rules on afterhours call out to prevent paying overtime. Manager was the worst mix of ignorance and arrogance

The reason I left was because we're were purchased by an American investment company, us and our competition were analgomated into one unit with many duplicate jobs. Many were laid off, myself included otherwise I would still be there.

Competitive industry, high pressure for sales. Weekly reports to management for sales progress reports. Good system for shipping goods quickly. Good team support from other staff. Good communication from support staff

Russell/Hendrix is a good place to work.  People are approachable and friendly.   Regular group functions improve employee and interdepartmental communication.

At the start of your job you have some training, management was the worst. Would not recommend working there. Very old school way of thinking, They made you feel like you were working at nothing because there were 3 other people doing the exact same job...
