Rustys At Blue

Rusty's was a great work experience.
There's serving and then there's rusty's. Where the majority of the time, you are in the weeds and having to manage about 10-15 tables at once. You don't get regulars. You have tourists that are there for a good time, and are generally, a bit more attention seeking than most customers. 
At times, work can be a little too hectic. But other times, it's great fun. Your coworkers are amazing, the management as their moments, but otherwise they are all around great people to work with.
Rusty's is a place that I am regretting to leave, the money is great if you work for it. The tip-out is a little expensive, but you still can manage to walk away happy. I'd recommend this job to anyone that thinks they can handle the fast pace without the stress.

It's a busy restaurant in a touristy place so it provides long hours for anyone willing to put in the time. High turnover rate due to the nature of the industry and because the ownership is awful. Everyone BOH works together, FOH as well, you try to have as much fun as you can while working hard to get your tips. Lunch isn't provided but you pay 50% of bill (is it worth it paying 12 bucks on a 24 dollar burger that SHOULD be 12 bucks? I think not). Fun environment if you're single and don't have a care in the world though. As long as you have a good team, that is.

The mental health of management isn’t healthy whatsoever, I had one manager that was nice but very overworked. 

It looks like the owners hired friends rather then experienced worthy professionals. 

Employees are worked hard and many neglect taking care of themselves such as sleeping enough and eating enough healthy food causing there brains to be under preforming and leadings to work place issues and arguments. 

The food is terribly unhealthy and overpriced due to the view. Bring a picnic basicket and save your money.

Worst place I have ever worked at, I was miserable every day.  
I got hired as a server, and only got host shifts for the whole time I was there (around 2 months). Not 1 serving shift. 
Management is so unorganized and doesn’t put schedule out until 9pm the night before. They also do not care or appreciate their staff 
IN ADDITION TO THE TERRIBLE WORK PLACE I went to find my ROE, as I stopped working there almost a year ago, but they have not submitted it. I contacted them 2 months ago to get it, but still nothing 

They should have a dishwasher for upstairs as well as downstairs. They expect one person to do both. There are 2 of us that are in our 60’s & I don’t think that we should be running up and down the stairs all the time.

was not to bad management was childish and food was good pay was  low and long hours and no respect from anyone there was always problems with the sinks over flowing when u drain them and the walk in freezer and fridge were always a mess.

Honestly love working at Rustys such a fun place to work plus it’s at the end of the slops the hours are really good the pay is good as well! They are very understanding especially when it comes to childcare, fast paced as well it’s just a good place to work at really 

worked here for a summer, gained a lot of knowledge in that field but prefer service industry more. not a lot of time to spend helping other everything was don't individually but got counted as a team. made it easy for people to slack of and not be noticed.

Amazing atmosphere for a job right at the heart of the Blue Mountain Village. Amazing staff and management always very friendly and more than willing to work around your reasonable schedule

I enjoyed my time working at rustys, and it was definitely a good work experience. Each day I encountered new experienced and new opportunities as well as being given many new responsibilities. It was a great job and kept me on my toes.
