Weak management in London branch is causing problems with customers leaving resulting in lack of work for technicians.  Management does not listen to ideas to improve business.  London branch is consolidating with two others in new Brantford location which will likely cause problems affectively servicing customers.  The technicians are some of the best in the field.  The vans are barely stocked but have decent overnight delivery of parts.  Uniforms are supplied, boot allowance, tool allowance and tire sale bonuses are perks.

Very good place to work if you enjoy doing the exact same thing every day. Management is terrible, if you meet target they will lie to you saying your orders per hour do not meet requirement, but they never tell you your productivity/volume per hour. I was pushing just under 20 thousand pounds of product per day, but was only completing about 18 orders. I was withheld my pay for several weeks and was fired for somebody else's incompetence. The safety advisor is egotistical and never listens to his employees. They make life very difficult for no reason

Current road tech for this region and it is a far superior company to work for then many others. You are responsible for your time management and customer satisfaction/ retention. Good pay and benefits, new service vans that are well equipped  with tools and supplies. Great management that is incredibly flexible towards your needs. In short, if you are a half decent service technician, Ryder will take very good care of you.

Schedule planning is left up to the technician. Managers monitor time billed by the technician to ensure 40 hours (or near) are being billed by the end of the week. (salary pay) I enjoy the freedom to plan my day, and go where I want to (Depending if there are break down calls.) Not a bad job overall, though the management, and sales needs some coordination, and communication.

I worked there for 8 years management gets changed every 2 years. They do not accommodate if you have kids or family that you need to care for. Even when you put your nine hour days then they still will not accommodate. They have no problem putting on a big workload on you and never give you a raise. You can produce a lot of work and it is never appreciated they still let you go or fire

The company have value for workers and they have a good communication plan that enable worker work efficiently. The company also provide enough trading that help worker understand what they supposed to do. The company pay very well and managers have respect for worker by listening and provide solutions to problems respectfully. 

The company was purchased in 2014 and the changes that have occurred have not made for a positive work environment.  There are two cultures present:  The new one trying to mesh with the old one.  Management having a difficult time adjusting to the changes required by the new company.

Hopefully changes will occur to make for a more positive place.
