i would say the only down sidea to working for the  SREPE would be that you don't have fixed working hours. You can work 40 hours a week like you can work les than 30. The other would be that they don't  pay to scale all the way. For a qualified educator i believe they pay only to scale 4 whereas as I am supposed to be at scale 10. However it's  a great way to get your foot in the door at different cpe's and "shop around" until you find one you like and take a chance and apply. They even make transitioning very easy if you're lucky enough to get a permanent position in one. Also being able to set your availability is a plus because it let's you organize any appointments with ease. I love working here and the only reason i would leave is for a better pay and more reliable work hours.

Srepe is a good place to work for someone looking to know the city and different work cultures in the area of montreal. 
it allows the employees to know lots of different people, and at the same time have different experiences. it is not a job for someone looking for stability enviroment wise and salary wise.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Absolutely garbage and disgusting environment among management and staff

Nice opportunity to gain some experience, but schedule keeps changing and there is no work/life balance. Advancement takes lots of time. Income barely cover your travel expenses.

Great if you like working with a lot of different kids, and enjoy flexibility and quick communication. I would definitely recommend. 

Having some form of security when there is less work would be helpful.
