T.G.I Fridays

It is a nice workplace, fun and not boring. But the other servers always have issues, they fight, gossip. Some servers thinks they own the stations, and some senior servers don't let the other servers serve and let them just host because they want to have more tips! The management should fix that problems. The servers hired should be a server, and the senior servers should not be bossy. This company is fun to work with but the management should resolve the issues. I am currently a server I have experienced, currently experiencing and personally heard the other servers complaints. We are all servers and only the management can tell what job we will be doing.

I usually work during graveyard shift. Committed to work in all stations. 
Cooking is not my profession but its my passion. 
Management must always be a good example to employees for them to be followed with respect.  As my experience i never had any serious arguments on my managers.
I love to work in a Team effort not by individual.  I learned that sharing ideas are one of the best ways to have good working relationship with my co-workers.
the hardest part of my job was not having enough stocks specially during peak hours.
Working during peak hours is what i enjoyed a lot, because i do challenge myself in speed, accuracy and patience.

all work places have cliques that you separate into. this work place was t he same. but everyone was civil to eachother. everyone was helpful and encouraging to new comers and switching shifts was not difficult in a pinch. co-workers are funny and easy going and management is also easygoing...as long as you are doing a good job. they are always there to help and offer tips. time management and multi tasking is a severe need to be a waitress. the ability to lift about 20 lbs of food at head level on one arm is also a handy ability to have

Working at Johns Restaurant was really good at the beginning, I was there for 2 years. I would not recommend working there because there management is not right, they way they talk to there co- workers is not very nice sometimes. I do understand that every job is different but one thing is when you have new employees you are supposed to be nice, have good customer service, just have a smile on your face and say hi. But they do not have good customer service from the last time I worked there.

It is really fun working in this restaurant! I love my the management too! I had a chance to deal with the customers while working. I was also offered by my manager to be a trainer in the kitchen for the company of SSP Canada! I have never had a problem in this job. And for the hardest part? Have to deal with the security of the airport, because the restaurant is located inside the airport.

A typical day at work would include stocking my station that I was at, completing my orders as they came on the screen, attending to co-workers that needed a hand and sanitizing my station when no orders were given. All together working at TGI Fridays was a fast moving place always kept myself busy enjoyed the co-workers company but disliked the way one of the managers were treating the co-workers only because he/she didn't do his/her job correctly.

T.G.I Friday's is a fun-loving and vibrant place to work. T.G.I. Friday's teaches and prepares you for the outside world with knowledge, versatility and positive attitudes towards your task and whatever you are about to face in the outside world. T.G.I is a vast paced environment that motivates you to do so much with little and still maintains your composure while still being happy. The team member is great and the teamwork is exceptionally well.

It was a great place to work. It's always Friday at Friday's. Placed table orders for guest. Coordinated drinks from the bar and and drink station. Delivered food piping hot for the kitchen to the guest. Placed guest in a rotated roster of the table cortex. Helping the co-workers when they could not get to their guest. I enjoyed the constant moving to keep a fast pace.

A typical day at work is when I started my shift with one server on shift and it was a really busy shift however we were able to manage it...
And it taught me that no matter what just believe in your self..
Management is OK..
Workplace culture is fine..
The hardest part of the job is you don't have time for you and your family..
The most enjoyable part is just having fun even its too busy...

weekends were busy busy but the team was derived for perfection
smart kitchen,cooperative management and hilariously capable staff
