I find working at Tacada to be an overall positive experience.  I work in a department where I or members of my team have interactions with every employee at some point.  I like that Tacada gives back to local community organizations in need and charities and invites staff participation in helping with those worthy activities.  They try to create employee fun/bonding activities and create areas at head office to work away from your desk or cubicle in comfortable, quiet mini-work spaces (recently renovated boardroom and staff lounge).  I've been here since 2014 and the culture has been quite positive most of the time.  Our CEO does regular staff addresses about the industry, economy, and how they believe it will affect our Company good and bad, to which I appreciate the transparency.  In reading some of the past reviews & comments, yes, there are times in which some managers get extremely busy and overwhelmed which makes it difficult to communicate with them, which causes stress on some employees as they may also become overwhelmed.  I think that is being worked on, but continuous improvement is always needed.  I find the best people to work with are those that try to find ways to do their job more efficiently and want to learn.  I find the most negative people are those that approach their job as "this is just the way we have always done it" and do not want to learn.  I think we have more of those "best" people working here now than ever before.

Absolutely a dump to work at. Abuse to construction staff from management.  No support. They over work you and have you do other people's work and  you do not get paid for it . They pay on the lowest scale and over work you the most . You want to hate your life and job in a month . Work here . Want to deal with underqulaified management and abuse.  Work here . Want your job threatened and the regular? Work here 

I have been working in the New Homes Industry little more then 3 years now and I have never been this happy and successful working as I am with Daytona Homes. Daytona Homes as a company is very motivating and helps you achieve your goals, from our management team to our warranty team they are amazing. Daytona Homes values their staff and every one who walk into ours office's or show home. I could not imagine working anywhere else but here :)

Tacada is always trying to improve the employee experience. The work is challenging and you are held to a high level of performance but it is a fun place to work with excellent leadership and management. They offer great benefits, an on-site gym, free food and coffee, flexible work hours and RRSP matching. I love working here and am grateful to have found a company like this. 

Daytona Homes has a great corporate culture! They push you to challenge yourself and be adaptable while finding fulfillment in your work. I appreciate the support I get from my manager and the leadership team is strong and engaged. To be successful you have to be open to new ways of thinking and challenging the status quo. They have high expectations of their staff but you reap the rewards in the great team you get to work with.

Having a great product that you believe in isn't the only thing that motivates a sales rep to produce sales. It's also the way a sales rep feels about their company and I have to say, this company is one of the best builder's in Edmonton to work for. They take good care of their employees and do what they can to assist us in the field.

Daytona is an awesome company to work for. They truly give back to the community by doing company wide volunteer actives every year. They care about their staff as well, you're not just a number there. Every year on your "Daytonaversary" you get a small gift showing that they appreciate you.

Mass layoffs in the last 5 years 
low moral some management treat employees disrespect talk down to the employee but will never be in trouble by HR. so far 4 people have moved out of because no action is ever taken rather then that's the way it is and we have to work together.

Daytona, was lacking integrity within the workplace. Although they promoted a fun work environment and strong belief in work life balance they very much neglected to go through with these promises and were unclear of employee expectations.

Supportive managers who are flexible & understanding. Collaboration is prioritized and the company focuses on skill development for employees. Excellent health & dental benefits offered
