This company is all flash and no substance. They pay the least and only bump wages when absolutely necessary. Any excuse to cut wages and it is done immediately. The "benefits" plan is probably the absolute lowest you can get. When you talk wages they will offer you a number that includes your vacation pay. Absolutely no bonuses, just your day rate and sub, truck/kms if you are a supervisor (also lowest rates in the industry). Morale is abysmal and their only concern is for a very select few field employees everyone always hates working with. It's incredible how they manage to keep going with so much overhead and office staff. I could go on forever listing all the terrible things they put myself and others through. They used to have nice equipment but at this point there are zero pros to working for them.

Not worth your effort. They have cut and skimmed there wages. You will get your first pay check and be saying to yourself ( it’s only till I find something else ). It’s like anywhere right now work harder get paid less with the excuse you are lucky to be working don’t settle with this outfit. They have low balled the market and the workers are paying the price. The office staff is like the boys club. They are going to say and do what ever it is to get you in the door it’s not there fault that’s what the company has turned into and what they are paid to do. Everyone there is in the same boat with pay so when everyone isn’t complaining about pay it can have its brief moments of a good work environment. Don’t waste your time unless you are desperate. Seriously 

Basically the Main operations in the job are flowing back wells to see the potential of each well, recover sand and water used in frac ops. For this we have to rig in flowing packages. Also a  common operation is milling to recover the plugs used in frac operations. Training is in the job on site but needs to be better and give more career opportunities to advance, the Pay must improve as the day usually last 13-14 hours without no overtime so payment is unfair. Poor management should improve and think more as humans than numbers.

The people are great to work with , the equipment is good and the wages are really good 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It’s the oilpatch , things change all the time 
It’s just how things go 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I like the people and environment, I haul people to and from location and most people are happy with the job and experience and environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It’s busy and steady with lots of hours

- My typical workday may involve P&ID Drawings, Well reports, Meetings, etc. 
- The hardest part of the job may involve sitting for long hours.
- I have been exposed to Engineering designs, improved communication skill, and improved knowledge in the Oil and Gas holistically.

It is an unstable kind of work setting. It takes alot of time to get good in a certain trade. But regardless of what your input would be or however hard working you would be it wouldnt matter you get paid what comes to their might. Education is a waste of time it is not considered as long as the company makes its money, the workers dont really matter.

I have worked here for 6 years and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. 
Tara Energy Services is a warm, caring and amazing place to work, I am proud to be employed here. this is a place that always prompts growth and helps any way they can to make a person succeed.  

An overall lack of communication between administration and the staff, Very high turnover rate.  Like most companies out there it's about the bottom line, power is very centralized and the company heads are surrounded by yes men. On the other hand their equipment is top of the line as well as safety policy.

With ten year experience in the patch Tara is by far the best company I have worked for. Committed to safety and they treat you like gold. Great managers and your coworkers are all solid guys.
