TD Place Stadium

Everyone loves to watch football so when you get to work behind the scenes its great. A typical day at work consists of prep before the games which include changing out current store products with new ones. 
Management is great, lots of people to go to if I ever need a hand with something or if there is a problem, everyone has walkies. 
My co-workers are all great, very easy to work with and supportive of one another, overall great environment 
The hardest part would have to be moving quickly under pressure, customers want to find what they're looking for, pay and get back to the game so sometimes I feel pressured to move quickly, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up
The most enjoyable part would have to be the atmosphere, it's an overall good place and everyone is having a good time

Working as a cook in TD Place has a large need of commitment considering it's like a restaurant that feeds 25000 people give or take, and with that said being a slight exaggeration, your probably feeding less than that but the point is that you are feeding a lot more people than a regular restaurant would which demands a lot from employees regardless of the staff size. Skipping out on some of your shifts is definitely not recommended. You may believe that because it is a large staff that you are not important but you are crucial no matter what position you are.

Every experience at work was always new and different, very fast-paced as a supervisor and always had to be on my feet. I learned a lot from this experience and enjoyed working here overall. However, new management in 2019 was very poor, specifically with concessions and disrespected their colleagues and seemed to base their decisions off of favoritism and biases. Left this place after 2.5 years of working because of management.

If you've ever wondered what working in an overly cramped and busy environment filled with short tempered and often drunken sports fans. Don't. If you can help it skip this job. The best part of this job was honestly the good management who where very understanding and treated their employees well.

Leave for work early due to rush hour and line ups for uniforms. Come early to get a locker to put your things in. Dress for the weather. Nice co-workers. The hardest part of the job is being on your feet for hours and dealing with the weather conditions such as rain wind and freezing temperatures.

This is a great job for the summer mostly, as shifts as quite scarce throughout the rest of the year. It is mostly ideal as a second job, because your schedule is usually available ahead of time and can be quite flexible. Fun place to work at, many different positions available.

Events can be a blast. Constant equipment failure and inadequate management are frustrating. Lots of nepotism as it seems more important about who you know rather than what you know.

Personally, its my passion and I don't have any complains regarding this job because I love doing Mixology and interacting with new people. So this is the perfect platform to work on and I love doing it.

Fun place to work if you enjoy sports and concerts. Not a lot of room for advancement. Great for part time work if you're trying to go to school. Easy access by public transportation as you are encouraged to use that and not drive. Parking is very limited on event days.

Fun job, semi-infrequent shifts but that was what I was looking for at the time. Friendly atmosphere, employed a lot of students/young adults. Guests could be a bit difficult at times but that's generally the case with any customer service-type job.
