Oppression of management is unprofessional, unsupportive, ineffective coaching. Back end office support from head office is challenged with producing errors for the clients. Half of your day will be admin fixing issues.
Overall, okay place to start your career.

TD Wealth is a wonderful place to work. My colleagues at the Financial Planning Sales & Support office are some of the warmest, most intelligent people with whom I have ever worked. It's easy to think of them as being like a second family to me, and the friendships I've made since joining two years ago have already filled me with great memories. 

The work you do at Financial Planning Sales & Support comprises much of the nuts-and-bolts tasks that help financial planners across Canada. This job is especially useful, if you intend on becoming a financial planner.

My experience as a Senior Compliance Business Oversight Analyst at TD Wealth was disappointing. The manager was rude and unprofessional, creating a toxic work environment. There was a lack of support, unclear expectations, and little constructive feedback, making it difficult to succeed. Efforts were often unacknowledged, and the overall culture felt unsupportive. This role left me feeling undervalued and demotivated. I hope TD Wealth addresses these issues to improve the employee experience.

I have already answered all these questions under TD Private Investment advice which then in turn became TD Wealth.
The advisors were okay to work for it was management why I ultimately left TD.  I should have transferred to another location instead of quitting but was told that was not an option.  I had no choice but to leave and felt I was pushed out of a company that I had dedicated 12 years of my life to.

TD provides good training for all TD wealth employees. In the high demand work environment, multi-tasking skills and communication stills will get well developed. The transferable skills are limited for people wants to move out of the financial industry. There are issues with the current sales and organization structure, which puts lots of pressure on its employees.

Management constantly changing things and making up new metrics to follow.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Colleagues were great. Management quite incompetent

Perform portfolio review for investment advisors to help them analyze their existing client investments. Meet with advisors and analyze their entire books of business to create a more efficient practice.

I enjoyed my years at TD Wealth.  The technology is easy to learn and superior than most on the street.  Back office has great people, willing to help ensure client needs are met.  COVID precautions put in place were excellent to ensure safety of those essential staff in the branch locations. 

Great experience, learned a lot but management needs to get more involved in helping us succeed. They tend to be too conservative and not open to new ideas. Discrimination and bullying can be present which is often the case in big corporations but more should be done to control it.
