work 12hr shifts, learned very quickly to multitask, smile face to face or on the phone.  Know when to be forcefull (for deadline reasons) and when to be myself happy and content whatever comes my way.  The company was going through some extreme changes when I left in December, Letting some go, changing hours, positions, hiring outside the company which in some cases can be great ! however in this case it failed and from what I hear is still failing.  Before the management changes, our shift was one great team.  We worked perfectly together helping each other out it ran smoothly. But changes came and it no longer was a good balance.
The hardest part for me was no matter how much work, phone calls, system shut downs and all those unexpected problems, everything still had to be done before you left for the day.  There was no leaving anything for next day.  Sometimes 12hrs didn't seem exough time.
The most enjoyable was the people I used to work with.  We took care of stores out in Kingston, Calgary, Langley and Debert and trying to get shipments out their door that they forgot to load on their truck and still sitting on their dock or was loaded on another truck.  It was great dealing with so many professionals such as myself.  We also dealt with District Managers and owners and when I can make a magic shippment happen with the shipping department based on the cheapest price or tagging it on to one of our trucks they are so very thankfull and it makes me feel great!

TDL was a fast paced environment with a lot of challenges. It was a great place to learn and develop skills. Every day was different and enjoyable. The TDL management team was very supportive and easy to get along with. The hardest part of the job was dealing with computer crashes but as a team we always pulled together to get the job done. The best part of the job was the team environment. Great group of people. Why I left was to pursue my our business in Home Staging and my co-workers were very supportive of my decision. Why I am looking for work again is due to my own business not producing enough income.

My position was replacing the legal secretary, prepared contracts for leases and franchises. I organized the filing of classified legal documents; in addition, I transcribed both English and French texts for the lawyer with whom I was working for. I also worked with surveyors for the purchase of land to establish a new building for a potential franchisee. 

It was indeed an interesting position as I had no legal background but I learnt very quickly and adapted myself in the position quite easily. I made friends and to this day I am still friends with the receptionist.

Open concept of office environment has been applied. Two way flow of communication. It has friendly coworkers with excellent cafeteria for breakfast and lunch. GBS system applied for better reporting modality. Comparatively lower pay in the industry. High HR turnover ratio has caused system disturbances in some extent. But regular refreshment events re-energies the employees. Good place to work.

The supervisors and my colleagues are very friendly and helpful. I came into this job with very minimal experience, but they trained me and helped me to become better.

Because of that, my production increased and they later offered me the full-time position. They offered a substantial compensation package which is very hard to refuse. And the best part is that when you work harder, you earn bigger.

I am a diligent worker with an attention to detail and the ability to work independently. A loyal employee, I constantly strive to make the workplace environment more efficient and effective, and can be relied upon to complete any task in a timely and accurate manner. 

Outside of work I enjoy an active lifestyle. I sing as a soloist and as part of the ensemble in a community choir. I also enjoy biking, hiking, baseball and floor hockey.

Enjoyed the team environment between the staff and the management team. Great to see Team members focused on helping make customers feel like if they are at home and at the same time deliver on performance and profitability.

dont get me wrong great friendly ppl and benefits off the start. but 12 hr shifts are a killer when your moving as much as is required in this position. i cant say enough for the ppl they make that job what it is and friendships are formed very fast and your made to feel as part of the team right off the start

12 hour night shifts, at times "insane" work conditions and standards. Some of the most physically demanding on-the-clock work.

Amazing co-workers, possibly the best people to work with. Management was probably cutting edge, industry leaders.

Very much of exploring personal limitations and exceeding them.
