Before Tyco bought AMP of Canada Ltd., AMP was an outstanding place to work and really focused on "delighting" their customers.  Everyone was great to work with and there was lots of room for advancement if you wanted it.

I had a decent time interning at TE Connectivity. Management kind of let me do my own thing to learn and grow as an engineer. The other engineers did not seem super stoked on life and seemed to have a washy work-life balance.

I don't know about the Canadian TE work environment. But i started off as an associate engineer in a country far off (not Toronto). The team was great and the projects were exciting. We were paid not so well if you look how much a person in the same position and responsibilities earn in north america, but the pay wasn't very bad either.

Too much bickering amongst co-workers. Learned  a lot about the business, though workers were not friendly. Did not fee comfortable in the workplace.

I come in every day, revise my email, attend customer requirements and make sure we deliver on time material. Overall is a good working environment.
