I worked with Teams Transport as an owner operator, and this has been one of the worst experiences in the industry.

Their fuel assistance is completely unreliable and, frankly, misleading. It changes constantly based on their profits, which makes their mileage rates meaningless. What you’re promised is not what you actually get, and there is no consistency to plan your business around.

Management is extremely cheap and solely focused on maximizing their own profit. It often feels like owner operators are being used as a buffer to absorb unexpected repair costs on the road. There is little to no support when issues come up—just pressure to keep moving at your own expense.

The management style is toxic. Many of the managers are rude, disrespectful, and at times outright threatening. Harassment and intimidation are used as tools to control drivers. There is absolutely zero job security—contracts can be cancelled at any time, sometimes for reasons outside your control, and you’ll still be hit with heavy penalties. The contract itself is vague and very one-sided.

After-hours dispatch is extremely rude and disrespectful. There is a guy who has to wake up from sleep every single time to get things done, and he gets upset whenever we call for help. He acts like he is doing us a favor. He wants to get paid while doing no work and sleeping when he is supposed to be awake and helping drivers.


Financially, being an owner operator here makes no sense. You can expect to earn something close to a company driver’s salary while still being responsible for truck payments, fuel, and maintenance. All the risk is on you, and the reward simply isn’t there.

Overall, I strongly recommend staying away from this company if you are an owner operator. There are far better options in the industry that offer transparency, respect, and fair compensation.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Teams has a family first, Friendly environment which is a good place to grow a career. 
The managment is working through some growing pains, but with some patience and planning they will remain a great place to work.

It takes a while to adjust to driver and safety taking presidence over schedules and deadlines.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone there is aproachable and friendly, they want to help you succeed.

A happy friendly, helpful  operator is the best ,advertizing tool in any company's tool box.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get up, pretrip, do documentation, hit the road.
Ďrive 6 hrs, the a breàk, ba k at it until you get close to your maxdrive time. Find somewhere safe to shut down.

I have personal excelente experience Never had before Is just field so happy work for Teams transport But we can get more benefits on tires , service or Mechanical discounts for be part of Teams Transport 

Worked here for along time, used to love it, used to love the people. Now its just another mega carrier, hurry up and wait, then get pushed over a cliff. Nov 30th 2024 they installed driver facing camera's in all company trucks. You wait 20+ hours for a reload, but they don't want you going home for more than 36. Everything that made this company great is gone. All the yards and equipment are new, huge new terminal in Winnipeg, full of desk riders who barely have a class 5.

There is no good answer to this question 
It's a disaster anyone who have experience  driving truck should not apply.

7 tp 18 delivers extended time on the road threat of not getting paid

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Dispatch way or the HWY you refuse a load even if it's interstateing you will be punished.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Pickup your assigned trailer and you go to your delivery

In my experience I like the way they treat me with respect when working they don't force you to drive at night and in bad weather conditions that's the best part. The bad thing is that it is an LTL company and there are clients where they should not send a trailer of 53 the client knows it and the despatch also but I think that they do not care at present the work is slow and waste too much time waiting for the next trip

Driver need to sweep every single Trailor  and they put  40 dollar fines on drivers if you will not vlean in

Dispatch  is well organiszed but stressful  because some of  management  is not respectful

Doing city delivery  and pickups

A truly fantastic company. If you want to feel valued and to work for a company that is growing and exciting TEAMS is the place. Management is wonderful, they hire great, competent people and its a good work life balance. If you are a go getter who enjoys being around smart like minded people  this is the place for you. 

Not the best for me place for me but everyone is different. Nice people but there again it just wasn’t for me. I think a lot of people would really enjoy this company as they may fit right in. I just didn’t fit in and when my purpose was fulfilled I was laid off for someone to replace me with a much cheaper cost. That’s business and business goes on.

Balancing home time with trucking is a challenge, but here at teams it’s done with ease, I’m impressed. 
Very helpful and pleasant employees, a family atmosphere definitely. Happy to be part of this family.
