In my position as the Leasing Manager, I have been fortunate enough to experience a role that is not only exciting and fast-paced but also one that has provided me with numerous opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. There is never a dull moment, and there is always something to do or a challenge to overcome.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of this role has been working closely with our tenants and being able to provide them with exceptional customer service. 

One of the best things about this role is the support from colleagues, who act as mentors to help you succeed in your new role. The team is welcoming and provides excellent guidance, making it a pleasure to come into work every day. It's also great to work with people who are passionate about the business and the industry, which makes for a positive and motivated work environment.

Overall, my time as the Leasing Manager for Vuze has been a fantastic learning experience. It has allowed me to develop new skills, work closely with tenants, and be part of a fantastic team. I look forward to continuing to grow and develop in this role, and I am grateful for the opportunities that it has provided me.

During my time with Templeton Properties, I often felt that the focus was mainly on money rather than people.

From the employee side, workloads were heavy and wages did not reflect the amount of responsibility expected. Preventative maintenance was rarely part of the conversation, which meant issues piled up until they became urgent. Staffing levels felt stretched, and building managers who cared about tenants often didn’t stay long because of the strain.

From the tenant side, in my experience repairs could take a long time, especially if they were costly. Communication about maintenance was reactive instead of proactive, and it sometimes felt like safety and comfort came second to the bottom line.

In my opinion, the company sometimes presents itself as a large-scale developer, but I didn’t see the kind of qualified development staff or planning expertise that usually supports that image. To me, this contributed to mistakes and inefficiencies that affected both staff and tenants.

Although there were some dedicated individuals trying to do their best, the overall system made it difficult to succeed.

If you are a self starter and looking to grow, Templeton Properties is a great fit. Management encourages input and new ideas. Templeton is a lead employer in diversity and inclusion. All are welcome and it is definitely reflected in the demographic. Office facilities are very comfortable and you are given the tools needed to succeed at your job. There is an open door policy but it is up to you to take advantage of it. The company is growing at a very fast pace. This allows for advancement and personal/professional growth but also the need to be flexible and adaptable.  All you need is the right attitude, a good work ethic and the willingness to learn! 

I have worked with Templeton Properties for 5 years they are always growing adding more buildings to their portfolio and with their slated new construction they are true leaders in the residential renting industry.  They understand the meaning of life balance as they are a family owned company.   I have scheduled days off and a great support team to cover me. A typical day would include; cleaning the building, responding to tenant inquiries and work orders, showing vacant units and preforming preventative maintenance throughout the building.  The best part of the job is interacting with the great tenants :)

Honestly, everyday there is something new. Tenants are nice people as well as my colleagues. I enjoy my time here to the point that I don’t notice when is 5pm and Time to go home. 
I enjoy my time here and I definitely feel help from my boss. We get things done and that feeling of accomplishment is awesome.

Job was pretty decent and tenants were great. I found management quite difficult to deal with. They only cared about doing the bare minimum repairs to keep the building standing, anything else was too expensive. Only thing important to management is making money. Wages are not liveable and at one point didn’t pay on time which left us scrambling for the weekend.

Great local family owned business. I've been a Templeton employee for 4 years and love my job! They employee their own contractors and plumbers so makes it easier to get things done faster.  You actually get days off where as other managers are 24/7!  Highly recommend anyone looking for a home based job to apply.

Fast pace with tight dead lines but easy going work environment. Knowledgeable helpful team that works very hard. Independent working environment. Wonderful work-life balance. Open-door policy with everyone.

I just worked for templton for 5 months. Everything was fine then one day I was called into the office and fired immediately with one week to leave property. They said it was performance related. Even if it was the are supposed to give a person condonation. Which they did not
