TENOLD TRANSPORTATION

I would show up at 6-30 am and i was not scheduled to start until 7-30 I have always been early so I would just start working right away. 

It was nice to physically have hands on experience after taking the dispatching and transportation course, But when they train a new employee they need  one person to train them who has the most experience in that field, 

They need to learn to work as a team and the employes need to be dealt with for there crewel and vindictive ways they treat other employes.
One of the Managers a very nice person, needs to Manage and not try and be everyone's Friend . 

The worst part of my job there was going home crying some days because of a Toxic mean middle age lady who changed my orders so they would be wrong or tell me the wrong info so I would enter wrong then yell at me in front of everyone .

Going home was the most enjoyable part of my days there, I have never experienced anything like this before in all of my working years and never hope to again. I always take pride in everything I do and want to do it right and properly for the job that is required from me.

There was lots promised during the interview process, like how they were changing things and making things better. Things just kept getting worse. The president is out of touch with reality, the turn over rate is ridiculous, people have been there for 4 plus years and not gotten raises. Emails from the CEO and HR come off extremely condescending and unsupportive. There’s a lot of office politics where they pick and choose who can work remotely and who cannot. They can’t keep up with cost of living raises and fail to understand each year you don’t give someone a raise, we lose money because they are not keeping up with rising costs.  You cannot joke around without getting pulled into a meeting about how things can be perceived. 

I have learned many roles here, and the company always provides learning opportunities to employees. There is an amazing training program offered to staff where you can connect with people inside the industry who provide you with valuable life lessons and a different outlook on business and your role in the business. 
The culture is good and Tenold has a social committee that works to improve the culture and welcome ideas from staff. 
The management team is supportive of their teams and encourages them to learn and grow within the business daily. 


I have worked in this industry for over 14 years now. Worked in the Logistics department for almost 3 years. I have never been in a more toxic environment. The management are all dysfunctional and unsupportive. I have never been more micromanaged. The long term employees are the dinosaurs of the Transportation industry. All backwards thinking. They push you until you break and their is no desire to work and grow as a team. I learned a lot about the transportation industry while I was there, but the negatives far outweighed the positives.

Tenold is a great place to work! The workplace culture has improved in the amount of time I have been here. There is continuous events that take place that help with team bonding and workplace relationships. The benefits and wellness program available is very good.
The management team is very enjoyable to work with. They have supported me to be able to advance my skills and encourage me to grow.  

Great work-life balance with great flexibility. Awesome senior management team and fun work culture. You never feel silly bringing up certain topics or ideas for improvement, everyone is open minded and wants whats best. Always something to learn and someone to help if you need it. 

Tenold is a company that genuinely cares about their employees and values work-life balance. Management tries to be open and honest in their communication and are very fair with everyone. They often promote from within and invest in their people with different training opportunities. The company has great benefits and fair wages. Overall, a great place to work!
