One of the finest, sophisticated, cleanest and most enjoyable places to work in. 

I personally grew as an individual at many levels because of the stimulating environment, work ethics, core values and staff members at the Boulevard Club.

Notably, the president and managers showed humility, tact, care, respect and empathy when mediating for individuals and teams during discussions to meet the Club's goals and employees' needs as well.
Therefore, I have always been excited about coming to work every day and learning new things although unfamiliar to me.

As a result, my service and interaction with the members, children and the staff were cheerful and respectful.

Overall, It was a fun and joyful work experience for me at the Boulevard Club of Toronto.



A typical day at work involves managing all communication on our website and various social media channels. This role has been a tremendous learning experience, allowing me to develop a strong professional personality while navigating the intricacies of online engagement. Overseeing significant events and capturing those memorable moments has not only honed my management skills but also taught me the impact of effective event coordination. The workplace culture is truly remarkable, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone's contributions are valued, and mutual support is a given. However, the most enjoyable aspect of my job is the continuous learning it offers. In an ever-evolving digital landscape, there's always something new to explore, ensuring that there's no shortage of opportunities to expand my knowledge.

I worked at the club when I was 22 and needed to find a job at the time. I worked as a busser and food runner for the restaurant/cafe/bar section of the club. 
I had a wonderful experience working with the employees, supervisors, and managers. They always made sure I had breaks and ate during the day (they also provide food for you to eat during your shift). I had other jobs before but they never treated me with such respect as this place. 
This job helped me to build confidence in front of people and develop social skills since I'm a very shy person. 
The only reason why I left was because I was in school for a different career. If anyone was looking for a job, I would definitely recommend this place. 
Also, the members of the club are super nice.
And the location is insanely beautiful.

Let me begin and tell you that this place is a complete gong show. Nobody wants to work here., because the management is lazy and hates training people. Staff leave here all the time. The management is all talk and no action. They have cockroaches all over the builiding and in the lockers. The members are complete psychos and will write all these crazy e-mails to management to get you fired. People throw each other under the bus all the time here. They can only find temporary agency staff to work here, because regular folk run away from this sinking ship like the plague. This place will not help you in the hospitality industry, it will only bring you down and make you misrable.

Generally speaking, it is fine working in the club. 99% of the members are really nice and well behaved. The managers and supervisors will pay extra attention and treat you kindly if they see you as a hard worker. But honestly, for the long run, I’m not really suggesting you to work here. The club pay their employees low therefore, most of the people who are working here are not the idea people you want to deal with. Most of them are unbelievably lazy.
However, since their application process is easy, working here can help you gain experience as well as helps your resume in the future if you want to apply for another private club that pay higher.

Terrible management. Employees always under paid and the club is always under staffed. Junior supervisor for casual dining is very disrespectful and he has a foul mouth. The f/b manager is a piece a work, he talks a lot but has done nothing to improve to work life for employees. The treatment of servers is just terrible. He encourages employees  to make suggestions on how to make work better, however, anyone that takes him up on that offer usually gets the boot. Long standing hours(10am-10/11pm) but only 1 break. Management does not care about employees thus there is high turn over. Every pay cheque hours are missing... tips are paid out 1-2 months after.

Working at the boulevard club is like being part of a big family. Everyone is very nice, it’s a great place to work. There are definitely things that need to change that can be frustrating to see if you’re keen to detail, but they’re slowly starting to change things up which is good to see. One big culture thing I noticed, is members rarely if ever tip (at the restaurant), which is a major disadvantage. Most assume it’s already included, but it’s only in some months. A way around this would be just bringing the bill directly to the member at the end of the meal after they are charged. Overall, I recommend working here, it’s one of the first places where I felt that my work was appreciated.

Our great work culture makes each day exciting, positive and productive. Working at the Boulevard Club you feel supported to give amazing hospitality and member service, while at the same time, supported to explore, expand, learn and grow your personal and professional skills and goals. Our HR department provides mentorship opportunities, on site and off site workshop opportunities, and developmental training, through this I have been able to learn more about the Private Club industry/ management and expand my network.

The Boulevard Club is a luxurious private club.  There are many job opportunities offered within the Club.  The people that you work with at the Club are pleasant and approachable. When you work at The Boulevard Club, you work as a team. The Club's staff are diverse and are very accepting of new employees from all walks of life.  The pay is as good and the benefits are great.
My favourite part about the job is that my boss in the Aquatics Department will pay for my certifications if they are related to work.  The staff food is pretty good and is paid for by taking a small deduction off of your paycheck. The facilities here are clean and are well maintained.

Engaging into different sport activities with members at the club, creating different activities for the younger members.
