If you're looking for entry level work, this is a good place, but not somewhere you should stay at for the long term. With no human resources or company oversight, the company has an awful culture where people can be downright abusive to each other with very little consequence. Not to say that people don't try to help each other and make it better, with the owner sometimes cooking lunch, and (normally) friendly co-workers. But while working for the company, I was constantly answering for mistakes that weren't always mine and occasionally asked to compromise my ethics for near minimum wage and no benefits. I strongly regret staying there as long as I did.

Incompetent dispatcher will send you loads to pick up in Aurora or downtown Toronto during rush hour. He will send these loads through their dispatch app yet loads have already been done and he will try to blame driver for his mistake. Also there is NO weekly guarantee, that is the first thing the recruiter will tell you. Their ad is very misleading.

Though I did not stay long, the staff got me up to speed quickly. I had known someone working there, which gave me something to look forward to, but otherwise it was fairly easy work with ample amount of flexibility.

They have a subcontractor that refuses to pay his employees

Can not get a hold of them by phone if you're employed buy the company then maybe a different story but do not subcontract .

This is a terrible company, unprofessional, horrible management.  They take from their employees and provide no compensation.  It is very one sided.  They expect 100% and give 25%.

The Messengers International is an absolutely wonderful place to work. The staff is polite and courteous and always working promptly. Their goal is to ensure customer satisfaction to the highest degree.

receive packages, put them in the corresponding cages, then ship out later in the evening. co-workers were always great to work with, bunch of good people.

I did learn alot about the commercial side of the deliveries and safety. I must say that most of the experience were self taught. It's a place to get a since of the commercial delivery dose of things.

Great people to work with the hours were great the best part of the job was got to build great relationships with alot of customers I had the greatest manager.

An unprofessional work environment that was hard to work in. It was extremely depressing to work in, especially with the way that you get treated and spoken too.
