What is the best part of working at the company?
Great opportunity to work a lot of hours. Also, free pizza about once a month. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sales reps make outlandish suggestions and promises to customers. 
Project manager doesn't plan ahead or listen to expert experience suggestions. 
Expect employees to lie to customers.   

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone is in a constant state of anxiety waiting to see who gets blamed next for management mistakes. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Wake up to find out you've been rescheduled overnight to a completely different job that requires completely different tools. 
Get to job and find out they don't have the right material. 
Work all day trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

If you're not afraid of hard work in various weather conditions and willing to be versatile this may be the place for you. I was hired as a laborer and quickly acquired many useful building skills. Management and supervisory staff will teach if you are willing to learn. There is no such thing as a typical work day as you may be driving mostly one day, then on a scaffold the next and in a cellar the third.  The culture is good as everyone gets along and look out for one-another, there are monthly meetings so you know what is being done well and what is not. The hardest part of the job was being blamed for some one else's mistake. The best part of the job is that changes too frequently to get bored. 

This had to be the worst company to work for, you bounce from job to job without finishing the first one.  If you need supplies your buying them.  Some of the guys I worked with are owed thousands of dollars because they bought supplies but were never paid back.  In London they lost 11 guys in less than a month, what does that tell you?? And these guys knew their stuff, it all came down to losing money.  
The "office" in London closed down but I think that they are still running some sort of operation out of London.
If you like being rushed to finish an overpriced job, like paying for the supplies, enjoy losing money then this is the company for you.

When I joined TROC back in 2014, I had been going from job to job...trying to find the right fit.  I was looking for a company that had morals and values.  In this business you are in peoples homes and they are trusting you to treat their property with respect and they are paying you to do the job right. TROC is one of the few companies that I have worked for that ensures this happens at all times.  They believe in being open, honest and transparent.  TROC believes in growth and developing their employees.  I started as a Carpenter, then I was promoted to Site Supervisor and now I am an operator for 3 locations.  TROC has given me all the opportunities I was looking for.

I've been working for TROC for 2 years. Always respectful and professional with employees and customers. Never any issues with payroll or vacation time. Proper co-ordination on job sites from start to finish and making sure everyone is satisfied. Working in safe and positive work environments for successful outcomes. Weekly talks on succeeding, expectations, benefits and improving forl future advancement. Licensed contractors on site for any questions or problem solving to prpceed with jobb. All work done accordingly to material building code and inspected by by city. Ive been lucky enough to work for TROC for 2 years now and look fotward to working for them for more years to come.

When I Started with TROC in spring 2021, I have just recently moved out here from the west... trying to get my feet wet in Ontario. I was looking for a company that I can grow with, and built something great! TROC believes in growth and developing their employees. I started as a lead Carpenter, then I was promoted to a leadership position such as Site Supervisor/Project management. Together we have started building a great team within the company. TROC has given me all the opportunities I was looking for.

Rob expects employees to use their own vehicle and tools.
Rob expects employees to use their personal credit card to buy materials.
Does terrible work. 
treats clients like dirt. 
Tries to convince employees to cover up mould and asbestos. 
Hires apprentices and does not train them.
No payroll.
No benefits.
Dont work here. 
Definitely do not sub for him. Does not pay on time.
Makes excuses not to pay. You will wind up in court.
Rob is not even a contractor.  He bought into a franchise.

Respect and professionalism for employees and customers alike were at the forefront for creating company culture. Good job security, safe working conditions and reliable payroll.

As a comparison as to what I perceive as the general average of renovation companies; T-ROC was the leader in forward thinking and pioneering a new way of doing business in Renovation. I am proud of my achievements and contributions to the rapid growth and development of T-ROC. I left on good terms.

Never saw a project to the end as I was bounced around constantly. Was put into unsafe working conditions and numerous occasions, including a full house demolition by myself, for a month with zero contact from the management. The tri-city branch has a large turnover rate because they will fire you when you as for your promised raise after the probation period.

A growing renovations company in Canada that offers incredible customer service and exceptional quality of work. Job tasks may include labor, skilled carpentry or office work such as sales or admin.
