Typical days at work is the resolution of problems in the control system of the CNRL's (Canadian Natural) sites.

Since my work involves troubleshooting and programming - I learned many aspects in the RSLogix 5 and 500 programming, PLC5, SLC500 and I/O Modules.  In this job, I enhanced my programming knowledge in the Wonderware InTouch and RSView32.  All these are through research, self-study and a little help from my colleagues. 

The Management is young and has opportunity for improvement in some areas.

My co-workers are helpful and nice to work with.

Jobs or projects in which you don't have enough work experience that needs to be resolve soonest indeed is the hardest part.

Travelling to different site in the Echo and Pelican pipelines is an enjoyable part of the job as I see a lot of places and meet different people in the industry.

People around you are very friendly,flexible hours,free gym so you can workout without any expensive membership fee. My manager and lead are very nice and down to earth people easy to reach, Getting your desired days off without a lot of hassle. You get golden Friday (your choice) you work 1/2 hour extra everyday and get every second Friday off. There are times that we have bad days like when system is down and project deadline is close management make adjustment to make it convenient for both clients and employees.

•	3D Modeling with AutoPlant designated by the Project Lead
•	Created GAs, ISOs and Flattening GAs by using AutoPlant and AutoCAD
•	Attached and updated structural and electrical external reference files 
•	Developed As-Built drawings, P&IDs, Plot Plans and PFDs in accordance with codes and internal standards
•	Prepared drawing index, piping line lists using the Microsoft Excel
•	Participated in weekly project meetings and transferred ideas into practical action

One of the best companies I have worked for. Work was 8 hours that passed by very fast. I learned 3d design and layouts. Management was on top of projects and were easy to speak to. Co-workers were all for the most part helpful and outgoing. The hardest part of the job was to meet last minute changes for deadlines. The most enjoyable part of the job was bagel and donut Fridays.

Not a place to work and have career growth...You work hard to achieve goals and found out later, people around you at all levels playing politics against you...they can be ruthless...

Only join this company if you do not have other options. if you don't park yourself there for a while and once find something else move immediately....Even at a lower salary package...

your career can be jeopardized by giving them any opportunity to control over you.

A very nice and friendly place to work in with helpful staff. Look forward to going to work every morning and solving the problems as the need arises. Had a team of capable designers who are willing to make changes and design concepts to satisfy the Client's requirements. The company was bought over when I left and now under new management and called another name.

They work with you to achieve your goals, The atmosphere is very relaxed, friendly, inviting filled with helpful people. This i think promotes productivity to increase within the work space. The management shows respect and encouragement to those who they are in charge off.

Compensation and benefits were above average. My employment was primarily in the accounting department which was in general understaffed given the size and scope of the organization. The size did offer great opportunities to learn and grow. However the overall culture was primarily focused on billing time as Three Streams Engineering was an engineering firm contracted by larger oil and gas companies.

I'm assigned to CENOVUS Foster Creek SAGD plant, working in a 7x7 rotation, doing PLC and DCS support (Rockwell & Honeywell Experion), Execution project under MOC performing FAT, Pre-Commissioning and generation of Turnover packges to close the projects.

Management is consistent and engaged.  Procedures make sense, are streamlined and documented - you'll know what to do, and how to do it.

Company culture is excellent - politics are minimal if any, and people are helpful and motivated.
