Working in the financial sector has developed a unique skill set. Strict privacy acts and security standards were essential. The handling of large sums of cash, combinations and foreign currency along with strong customer service skills also topped the list of skills required. Responsibility and maturity in the handling of customer conflicts were a must. A challenging career with diverse people.

Customer service was tops on my list of must haves. Clients trusted and relied on the information we gave in order to make decisions that were in the best interest of there families. To this day I maintain close ties to my clients and community.

Unreasonable work load whenever the owner 'had an idea' and needed something with no turnaround time. 
Owner had no boundaries - would contact you on evenings, weekends and holidays for work.
Owners/mgmt show up late/leave early daily, constantly late for meetings and appts. Doesn't respect employee's time.
Owners/mgmt frequently gossiping about employees.
Did not do employee reviews or raises almost ever, when you asked for a raise they seemed mildly offended and unsure why you deserved one.
'Happiness' is their core value, yet many employees experienced breakdowns and seemed very unhappy/stressed while I worked there.

Good products, poor operation.

I started working at tiber river with them knowing I had ulcerative colitis (a chronic illness that does NOT affect my ability to work) I called in sick twice both months apart with over 24 hours notice in advance. They then fired me due to “health issues” they also threw in that I was taking vacation in a month and they didn’t have anyone to cover me. Not only that but management was horrible (when they decided to come in) always negative and made us retail workers clean out the overflowing sewage for 7 hours straight! They also didn’t close down while this was happening. They never appreciated any of their employees and only cared about their dying business. DO NOT work here. 

I was so excited to get the job there, but it’s turned into a complete nightmare. One of the owners is very hands off, while the other incites drama and gossip.  Other people who are in charge are the ability of mean girls. There is a lot of nepotism, and certain people that are allowed to get away with whatever they want because of their relationship to the owners. Sadly, I found out the hard way that all the negative press. This place has gotten is 100% true, contrary to what they would like you to believe.

In the beginning of my experience it was great, but after about 3 years of working there my job felt not secure as they let go a handful of people before I decided to leave. Although my experience wasn’t the greatest near the end, the spas are quite busy than any other spas I worked at(plus for an apprenticeship). But taking any sort of time off even if you’re dead is very frowned upon. You sign a contract so you have no choice to do events in your time off if the days land on it. You get benefits but nothing is useful in my opinion. VERY goal oriented, will comment on your sales/rebookings. And management was a nightmare when I left!

I've worked at Tiber for awhile and while it does have its challenges like every company, it really is a great place to work.  I like that I have a ton of opportunity to work in different roles and that the company is willing to invest in me.  I'm not limited to what my experience is.  I have also found that everyone, management included, is always ready to listen and that they care about making things better.  If you are someone who works hard, takes initiative and cares about the customers and who you work with, you will like working at Tiber.

I was an esthetician at one of their spas for a number of years. While it started off well enough, things started to go downhill around 2017. Management is a cesspool of bullies that gossip behind everyone's back and the owners don't care about the people they employ. They only care about making that quick buck and meeting goals even if that means throwing you to the dogs. Do not work here if you value your mental health. 

Tiber is a fairly unstructured work environment,  go-getters and people who don't need constant direction will thrive at Tiber.  If you need to be managed closely and can't pivot or think outside the box regularly this isn't the place for you.  Rarely did I see anyone actually leave on their own accord through all divisions. Lots of great perks, would like to see more long term investment options or a pension.

Workplace culture is fun and collaborative.  We worked together to get the job done.  Everyone is wonderful there.  While we have to sometimes do many things, it is fun and we work together.  They really care about us as people.  I'm sad I had to leave.

One of the most toxic work environments i have ever worked in. There is a lot of turnover there, in both head office and the stores most employees leave after a year or so. 
So much negative gossip and drama from the mgmt and owners, nobody on same page and no planning, followed by lots of blaming. Not worth working here.
