TJ Enterprises

TJ Enterprises was hardcore. They focused so much on cleaning and deep cleaning, which was extremely difficult for team members to constantly do every shift. Operations was on the staff 24/7 about getting times low and cleaning but overall they were very involved and would come and help any time of the day. The hours were good when i worked there, since i was the weekend baker at one of the stores, but many only got one or two shifts  a week. The training was pretty weird when management changed at my store and the level of skill the newer team members had compared to when me and older team members had when we were started were large. They wouldn't train them on a lot of important tasks and areas of the store. They never let people advanced and offered promotions and what not but never followed through. I was strung along for a few months with a promotion, which provoked me to quit since i didn't feel as if i could move up or grow. I had two managers while at tj enterprises, both being very nice to me and good with customers, but they can be strict at times so watch what you do and say. If you get called in for an interview and then orientation, remember that this company is very hardcore and it takes a lot to come home after work without still being stressed out. Its minimum wage unless you're in management so look elsewhere where its more chill to work at for the same wage.

The stores in Windsor run by TJ Enterprises are horrible to work at. Customer service is low on what they value. Instead, making sure managers are satisfied is what is #1. Customers will often overhear managers talking down to team members and are publicly embarrassed in front of their peers. It is often a hostile environment, especially when it reaches peak hours and the drive-thru times are not met.

You will feel belittled, disrespected, and overall unvalued by the company. The opportunities to grow are also unrewarding. The workload doubles as your pay increases by a measly amount. The operations managers are unprofessional, and it is clear that the owner cares more about money than making sure his employees are satisfied. When the owner comes through the drive-thru for a coffee, it spreads fear and panic among staff to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. Even seeing a similar car to theirs makes you anxious. It is a toxic workspace overall. Happy employees = happy customers. Something TJ Enterprises needs to learn.

would not recommend this company to anyone. Since day one employees complained about management and ownership. they do not care for their employees at all. all they care about is getting their bonuses. supervisors will be on you everyday to go faster no matter how fast the team is. everyone dreads showing up to work because the atmosphere is terrible. I worked and 2 locations and have had friends who have worked at others as well. never heard anything good about this company at all. save yourself a headache and work anywhere else in this city

Very stressful if you have anxiety. Fast paced. Good job for people who work well under stress. Great training staff. They provide training on the job and video tutorials to teach you how to prepare orders, do's and don'ts and practice tests online. Mostly supportive and do not discriminate. They gave me a voluntary 3 month leave of absence when I needed time to take care of my mental health and welcomed me back willingly. Overall decent place to work. 

To this day i am still trying to get hours and hours of my hard work paid for by this thieving company.

DO NOT WORK HERE. Yes they will hire you, but be prepared to work LONG, INFLEXIBLE hours. 

EXPECT having to fight for your paycheck every week. They hate paying you for your hard work.


Im embarrassed that i was ever part of this organization.

The upper management in this company is the worst ive ever seen in any organization.

I started at TJ as a regular Tim Hortons worker and within 6 months became a supervisor than an assistant manger. The only thing you need in the company is a good work ethic and a great attitude and moving up is easy, plus the 10-15$ tips per shift don't hurt

TJ enterprises is a good company to work for depending on your location. some managers are amazing but some can be rude and really mean.... the worst workers get the best treatment which is pretty unfair.

Terrible management. I was covering people for midnight shift which ended up being a full time gig. I didnt want the position but if i didnt take it i wasnt going to be working there.

With held money that was owed rightfully for bonuses.
No communication from owners

Workload was unreasonable.  Treated badly  by management and coworkers (Verbally demeaning and degrading).  Very Highschool atmosphere to work in. Breaks are few (if you get them at all).
