we'd get to the lunch trailer every morning. for the morning safety meetings and for the forman to say their crew. we would get sent to differtent racks or work packages everyday. 12hr days 3 breaks one at 9:30 then 12:30 then 3:00 then end the day at 6 to head back to camp. i learned alot in safety while i was there. the managment was ok their was some mess ups but they always got them fixed right away. my co-worker well they were probley the most enjoyable part of the job too. it is a 9 on and 5 off shift so you seen your co-workers more then anyone else so we were all family up there. it was a fun outgoing jokester crew they have the hardest part of the job was working in the spring during break up carrying water pumps in mud up to our knees with generators and hoses. 

Start the day with a daily meeting, then vehicle checks and gathering tools/materials for the job, drive to site, have a toolbox/safety meeting, begin working on whatever the job was that day. I learned very little, mostly about safety paperwork. Management was seemingly pretty good & on top of things. Most of my co-workers were older and had the old-school mentality, a lot of barking orders and abusive verbiage, very little patience and unwilling to teach. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the old-school/abusive mentality of my co-workers. The Most enjoyable part of the job was the paycheck.

This has to be one of the worst companies that i have ever worked for. I was a newly trained Heavy Equipment Operator when I was hired for a camp job with this company. I was hired and it took four days into my 12 day shift before I found out how much they were going to pay me. All the foremen talked down to us and had really bad management skills. When I started they paid for half of my flights home. Then they took that away but didn't increase the wage. I refused to pay to go to work!

Start the day with a safety meeting, review all work with foreman, everybody learns at different speeds so have patients. Keep positive and let crew know there is no bad questions. hardest part of the job is trying to help people with personal problems. The best part of the job is seeing employees complete jobs with pride

Upper management had almost brought down the company many times. The people in the field continuously save the company from going under.

this company does everything a company should not do

treat people badly, no appreciation, no respect of personal time, have workers fearing for their jobs, etc....
