There is a lack of support and horrible communication. A typical work day could be very busy or you are catching up from the lack of support in your position. Majority of the processes were created by somebody in excel and nobody knows why they do it just that it has to be done. Do your job, keep to yourself and don’t expect to build real meaningful relationships if you intend on getting through each day. Keep the job as just a job and take what’s thrown at you. Stay on everybody’s good side to see favourable considerations. The behaviours and attitudes learned are not transferable skills in other more professional settings. This position would be best suited for someone who does not have high expectations from their employers, can afford to be paid low salary in a high cost living economy & anticipate the pay to not match your daily duties and requirements. 

A typical day at work is going to my designated store when I decided, checking in with the store team, reviewing the delivered merchandise, and then following the new planogram. Some weeks it only takes three hours while other weeks can be ten hours. 
For independent people it is fantastic as you get to your alone at your own pace. But being alone does mean a lot of hauling and heavy lifting alone.
Fantastic for people who only want to work a few hours a week to supplement their income or just to get out of the house.

 Clients can be heartbreaking and you will need some form of self care

Easy going, Bosses are very understanding and fare

Long shifts but rewarding, Working with very good partners

Merchandising magazines in big chain stores. Typical day is arriving at the store, sign in, fill a cart with new magazines, replace old magazine with new ones and that's pretty much it. There are contests regularly for gift cards. Management is great with communication and the plan-o-grams are easy to follow. It is minimum wage and only a few hours a week but if that's all you're looking for, it's perfect!

The ability to implement your own personal way of doing the job so it is done accurately and efficiently.

There isnt any. Working with TNG has been stress free. They make their directions very clear and allow you to do the job the best way possible.

I do this as a part time job to supplement my full time job. It’s so much fun to see the product and get to organize it all.  There is a lot of support from management as well as other merchandisers.  I highly recommend working for TNG.

Alberta needs to get a new management team it is a terrible work environment in Northern Alberta territory . Worst experience I have ever had at a job . Company fantastic to work for in Ontario

The schedule is flexible, so you have wiggle room should you need personal time off or you work another job.  Hours are mostly part time unless a team lead, management or working in the office.
You need to be able to lift small boxes and bundles of magazines if a merchandiser.
