TRICAN WELL SERVICES LTD

My mistake was listening to a former supervisor colleague at another work place who was let go and telling me that "I will double your salary to if you come work for me?". Like a lot of managing personnel at Trican it seems I think there are enough reviews about this company to clearly show how inconsiderate they truly are.
But hey, why not one or two more.

1) Work/life balance was only important to my manager at the time. So only his work life balance mattered!


2) After I left and being screwed out of almost $5400 of overtime (After taxes) and a complete disregard fro my personal life. Another five people tried my position and met with the same fate as I... Leaving Trican frustrated.

So in saying that I would give Trican a try again and submit a resume to for positions I know I can do... Which I have, but they don't call for an interview...

Trican has a bunch of great people, the only reason I'm not with them any longer is because to them I'm just a number. They lost touch on what their employees mean to the company. And prefer to take negative reactive approaches to even the smallest human error instead of creating and teaching positive proactive practices.

wonderful experience , chances to learn new technology for well servicing techniques to enhance the oil and gas well production plus production stimulation and abandonments through acid work and plug installations.

good place to work   learned to work with nitrogen and improved my driving skills  Management was pretty easy to work with the same goes for the co-workers . The hardest part of the job was the shift work The best part was the driving

Learnt a lot from their Payroll team.  Great work environment..
People were friendly and welcoming.  Management was supportive of all the employees.  Management was quick to identify and rectify problems in systems without laying blame.

work for trican well service was one of the best career choice,this path have put me in a professional career in the oil and gas industry.you can learn on a daily basis and gather all information and opportunity

i was hired with my experience, that came from nowsco well service.of 18 years.I enjoyed all my experience and challenges that they had shared with me .trican has a very good management teem .

Great company but when it comes down to it you are just a number and if that number doesn't work for their budget then you wont have a job,  No matter how many years of service or how hard working

Hypocrisy is normal, zero transparency is enforced. If you have ideas on how to improve anything...YOU can't improve on perfection!!!
They would do anything for you...but they wont do that!

Very rewarding work when the going was good. Layoffs and downtime could sometimes be a bummer. The culture in the oil field in general takes a lot of getting used to and can sometimes make the job harder than it has to be.
