The tone for TRJ is relaxed, get the work done and go home. the employees are never asked to take their work home. the management on the splicing side is the best i have experienced at any company. There is room for movement in the company, with contracts opening all over Ontario. highly recommend this place is you're looking for an infrastructure environment.

Everything is micromanaged. There is no room to breathe or function independently. They will not share information with you or between each other. The only good part of the company are the guys on the field. Otherwise, there is not much going for this company. Keep watching your back because before you know it, you'll have a thousand stab wounds.

I don’t work here but went for interview! Thought based on my experience seeing the sheer lack of professionalism from a so called supervisor I’d write something, soon to file complaints head office!
Supervisors don’t like you if you know more then them. He basically said if I take a dump here pick it up cuz I’m Boss! You can’t complain about CVOR or safety just do the work!

My time at TRJ Telecom provided me with experience in the safe use and maintenance of industrial equipment, the leadership skills required to manage and train new employees, and the work ethic needed to work efficiently to overcome any challenges and meet daily quotas.

Always complaining about excavators cost. Minimum staff and demand 0 mistakes whether rain or snow. Management is half ok. But don't care about the workers. Production is key though they wanna cram everything into a 4day work week or less. Out of town guys it's good but not local, hours are prescendent

Lots of problems, promises made but nothing changes.
Management changes a lot. Employees complain a lot. Managers do not listen or do anything to improve the situation.
Warehouse is a mess with little place to work.
Still make inventory on paper. 
Lots of drama between people
No teamwork

Good place to get starting experience. Hitting utilities was a weekly occurrence. Management asked you to do unsafe practices. Quebec workers get treated much better than Ontario ones. 

Very unprofeasional from management to labourers. Management is aware of and allows supervisors to date new female employees. Management clearly plays favourites as well. 

Field workers are amazing people and fun to work with. I had the chance to work with some good people and learn. Management is horrible, they do not know how to treat their employees with respect at all, some are very pushy to get work done and treat you with no respect. Do not join this company.

boundaries are set by your level of understanding the business, a good day of work making sure are your projects are on track and your operation crews are out busy serving customers.
