What is the best part of working at the company?
The entertainment dept was good to work at. 
Aluminum cans and automotive really sucked

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Seeing incompetent drivers getting the better paying runs because the colour of their skin

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It used to be an excellent company to work for. The change of ownership and culture makes it difficult for caucasians to work there

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Once you're out of the yard and on the road it's great...getting dispatch to find you back haul is at times difficult

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.

Advice to Management

More on-boarding training before new employees are thrown in the fire. The first couple of weeks can be very confusing on where to find the information you need that pertains to your job.

Great place to work, get get busy all day long, with a good communication with dispatch and the owner of the company

I would say there is nothing to be stressed about, because they don't force you to work whenever you need to take off work

Well cultured and respectful environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Only in winter time could be a typical day of work

I was a trainer there for 5 years. When it came to benefits there was always an excuse that it took 5YEARS employment to qualify!! Only because the turnover rate was excessive.  Including office staff. The pay is WELL BELOW industry standard, equipment is sub par and was “told” to bend the rules or else. Finally had enough of the “owner” and his way or else God complex and condescending attitude towards drivers and quit. Best thing I did. MY ADVICE IS STAY AWAY.

Wonderful opportunity and chance to make and meet new friends.  Learned many invaluable lessons.  I hold that company dear to my heart.  Cross border dispatch exclusively with Ford and General Motors. Clearing customs via Fast Livingston, Ace, ACI, etc.  The hardest part of the job was leaving,  The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to work.

I would handle critical information with care, send shunt truckers where they needed to be at the times they needed to be there.
Management was amazing.
The workplace was professional.
Time management but once you had that down it was easy.
Accomplishing things on time was the most enjoyable

lots of work. border crossing . automotive and general freight. assigned trucks no slip seating. company pays benefits after 4 years there. any breakdowns trucks get fixed asap.most of dispatchers are easy to get along.

Management are caring and very experienced.
Dispatch are knowledgeable and helpful
Got to see lots of the places in the United states as well as most of Canada from Alberta to Quebec

TTR Transport allowed me to get 18 years of experience. They gave me opportunities to work in all departments of administration which include, accounts payable, receivables, payroll, billing and reception.

What’s good about this place high turn over rate u sit around waiting for loads then u do working if u don’t wanna make money go here not much more I can say have nothing positive to say about this company
