Reflecting on my time at this company, I've encountered several challenges that have impacted my experience. Despite efforts to navigate these obstacles, I've found it increasingly difficult to thrive in this environment. Issues such as micromanagement, a lack of appreciation, and ineffective communication have contributed to a sense of frustration and disillusionment.

Additionally, the leadership style of the previous quality manager epitomized micromanagement and demonstrated a lack of essential knowledge. Their unprofessional conduct, coupled with their use of power to manage through fear, further exacerbated the negative atmosphere within the workplace.

While I acknowledge that every workplace has its challenges, I've found the overall culture and atmosphere here to be particularly draining. The constant negativity and lack of support have made it challenging to remain motivated and engaged in my work.

In light of these experiences, I believe it's important to provide honest feedback about the aspects of this workplace that are not conducive to a positive and productive environment. My hope is that by addressing these issues, positive changes can be made for the benefit of current and future employees.

The new CEO has managed to cultivate an unhealthy working culture in the company:
1. Managing the company by creating fear for staff. In less than a year large number of people got fired without cause and many experienced people quit. "Raise your hand if you need help, otherwise you get fired" is the wisest sentence that the CEO can say about employee growth and mentorship.
2. Zero appreciation. "You should be happy to have a job in this economic situation" is the CEO's reply to bonus and raise requests. No matter how hard you work, work OT without pay, you never hear a thank you.
3. Zero team-work culture. Staff talking behind each other's back, throwing co workers under the bus is very normal and encouraged.
4. Favouritism. After working few days, you can easily tell who are the favourites of the CEO. Even in daily greetings it's obvious. They don't even get questioned about their costly mistakes.
5. Very weak HR management, short staffing in all departments.
6. Very stressful work place, specially the office jobs. Extremely high load of work for each position which is normally done by 2-3 people in other companies.




The company culture needs major improvement. I recommend changing the CEO and most of the management that suck up to him. Some managers are okay, and some are childish and really passive aggressive. I wish I never wasted my time with this company. You would think that by the time you’re a grown adult, you would outgrow the childish behaviour of gossiping about other people, but that doesn’t seem like the case at Tab labs. The management in this company seem to almost constantly display childish behaviour such as gossiping and downplaying employees skills and confidence. 

The new management team is experienced in the NHP field and is actively shaping the company to allow it to grow at a faster pace. A lot of changes occurred during the last few years and things are getting better. 
I met many great people at this company and it was really fun working with them. 

Advice to management
Continue to communicate to the employees and continue to ask their ideas on improvement. 

It's a revolving door. Toxic and hostile culture. Everyone is stressed because of the number of dismissal all year round. It cannot be that there are that many bad people around. You need to suck up to the top levels to save yourself which creates a disconnect among the team. Constantly I need to look over my shoulder. I don't recommend this company to anyone. 

I have learnt a lot since I joined the company. The best part about working is the wonderful team who knows what team work is. We work and laugh together which makes working even more interesting. 
Also good part is that my manager always review our performance monthly and he completely promotes you to learn new things and guides you for career development.  
I would 100 percent recommend this company. 

It is one of the the worst companies to ever work at, poor management, no system. They fire anyone without any cause just because the owners don’t like them. No work ethics. They don’t know what they want from an employee, no set job duties. If I could rate them negative I would. Save your self do not apply here or work here. Mismanaged and pathetic work culture. Never worked with such awful people, especially the CEO.

they let A LOT of people go without cause. this is a HORRIBLE company that doesn't give raises and encourages you to gossip behind your coworkers backs. The CEO is incredibly snobby and has the attitude of "I'm god, everyone in this company beneath me are peasants" Save your time and don't bother applying. There are MUCH better places out there!!

you’ll be let go for the pettiest reasons. You won’t “fit” in. I was in the washroom and I could overhear people in the break room gossiping about other employees. Fake people everywhere. They promise people a position in the future and then let them go in a few weeks. The CEO is really terribly snobby, and looks down on everyone. There is a A LOT of favouritism in this company. 

So far company has been a great support to the quality department as they are committed to the higher quality standard. 
It is a fast paced at this moment as there are lots of projects going on to improve the system and facility.

Great team and great collaboration between departments to achieve goals.
