The 2 star reviews make me laugh because I know they are from competitors trying to discourage job seekers from applying. I bet I know which companies put them on here. I've worked for three other cleaning companies before coming to Take Time and I can say from experience that Take Time is the best by far.
They train you really well and they schedule you so your drive times are short. You can also choose your hours. You get full benefits for your whole family. You also get gas compensation. The hourly rate is far better and you start first day at $19/hr.

They are not as cheap as the others. The staff here are really helpful and friendly and I have never felt anyone was trashing me behind my back. They are very organized and professional and if there's a problem they discuss with you directly in a respectful way. So different from two of the three other companies that I worked for. They're the ones that talk behind your back and I was treated badly by two of them. The third company was kinder but I couldn't pay my bills.

One big thing about Take Time is that I don't have to go to their office twice a day which I LOVE. I can sleep longer 🙂Everything here is supplied. You have regular clients and you are rewarded for doing good work. Communication is great. This is the BEST cleaning company in Winnipeg.

I'm giving this review because this company deserves it 100%. I have worked for 2 other cleaning companies before getting hired at Take Time and it was worth all of the negative, unfair and horrible bosses to get to this point in my cleaning career. I have only been here a short time and have nothing at all negative to say about Take Time. The wages are so great the best in the whole city I'm sure. I went from 17 to 19 to 21 per hour in less then 3 months, whaaaaaat. Yeah that's right people,  I'm good at what I do so that helped. The staff is great and super friendly there is absolutely no drama here unlike the other places I've worked. The clients are great and plentiful. The benefits at Take Time are very cool and offered to you after only 4 weeks. You do not have to go to the office everyday usually only once a week and they do their best to give you clients in and around the area you live in.  Everything is open and honest at Take Time no hidden anything only straight answers. You can write stuff off at tax season gas phone ect. I think I've summed up this awesome place to work and no I'm not being paid 20 dollars to say this. Good luck my cleaning friends hope to see you soon.

I've had a very positive experience working for Take Time. This includes a great relationship with coworkers, admin and management and feeling like I am valued and heard. I came into this job with minimal cleaning experience but if you are a hard worker, have good time management skills and aren't afraid of a good work out - this job can be extremely fulfilling. They are not kidding when they tell you that you can cancel your gym membership! I will say that this job is fast paced and being a quick learner is certainly an asset. I appreciate the support I received from my trainer and admin staff when I needed it and if you are working hard, they acknowledge that and there is room for growth within the company. As well, they are great at constructing a schedule that fits your life, may that be FT or PT work. 

This is all based on my experience.
I'm unsure as to why the listing is the way it is. 
- They didn't get a $500 signing bonus.
- You can earn up to $23 an hour IF you manage to stay there long enough. Although yes, the pay is good, it is not worth it for the time and expectations. You will find yourself trying to finish a lot with not enough time because the houses are dependent on how clean it is prior to you arriving.
- Sometimes you'll work with clients that are not the best.
- If you get on the bad side with the owner, good luck.
- You can't do a direct deposit until your 3rd month.
- Communication with the owner is not the best

If you don't have any choice, I guess apply here.
When I like my work, I will work hard, but the only thing that drives me away is poor communication and poor management.


I've been an employee for several years now and can honestly say that I feel like I'm an appreciated employee, something that I haven't had at other jobs I've held in the past. This job has good hours, good money, and a good workplace culture. I've been given many opportunities to advance and not only improve my wage, but reach beyond being just a cleaner as well. This company rewards a good work ethic, and while it is hard work, it satisfying work on both an emotional and physical level. Knowing that you're helping people who need your help and staying in shape while doing it is fantastic! 

Working for take time has been by far one of the best company's I have ever worked for. Not only are the staff and owner of the company wonderful people, but the pay is amazing too. Take time pays their staff the best out of any other cleaning company in the city, I just recently received my 12 month $2 per hour raise and am now up to 21 dollars an hour. They also offer alot of cool benifits, working incentives and competitions within the company. Around Christmas I won $500 from a contest they had going on. So if anyone is looking for a great place to work, I highly recommend joining the take time family.

Thrilled with this job.  I've worked here for 3 months now and they are exactly what they say in the ad.  A huge improvement over my last job where I was partnered up with a smoker and I had to inhale stale smoke all day  and the next partner was on her phone all the time so I ended up doing most of the work plus checking her work. No support. They just wanted jobs to get done.  All that for a really sad pay check.
Take Time is the exact opposite.  Everything they do is set up to accommodate cleaners.  LOVE it here.  The pay is fantastic!!!!!  LOVE the people.

Great pay along with great co workers , you either work by self or with co workers . Very fair and understanding employer and office staff . 
No weekends , home early enough to start supper for family , and still make it to kid's sports . Perfect job to balance family life with , while contributing to the family household income . I've been a cleaner , office staff and trainer and quality control manager in the time I have worked with Take Time so there's room for advancement

I really enjoy working here. Ive worked other cleaning jobs before and this company is one of the most organized and is always ontop of everything. I feel very secure in my work and if theres ever any issues or questions i can directly contact management and resolve it no problem.
