This is not an everyday company to work for, I was out of the payment card industry for 3 years and realised what was I doing out of it. Most companies will only see you as number as cliche as that sounds but when you have a CEO, leadership team Head of centre and management that that addresses you on a first name basis from the start you know your going to be valued, also nice to know management are on a level too with you.

This is not for the lazy or those who wish to exist on the minimum, however training is always on hand and I came into this with no experience and I have only went from strength to strength and that is what keeps me going, plus if you can visualise what you want in life you really could make a difference to your life as the salary is sick!!

Ask about the prizes and incentives, when you hear about them, you wouldn't want to to even clock off at the bell.

Chance to earn great commission but company expect too much from you. Talk time targets nearly impossible to hit, especially when you have a bad day of people hanging up on you all day. 

People sacked on a weekly basis, VERY high turnover of staff. Managers breathing down your neck all day - can tell they don’t agree with half the things they have to pull you up on and that it’s come from higher up. 

Clear favourites in the company who get preferential treatment. 

Monday-Friday but you will be made to feel bad and like you won’t succeed if you don’t agree to overtime on a Saturday. However over time pay is good. 




I have been with Takepayments for over 4 years and love it here. The role is very rewarding, and support is always available to you from management or colleagues. Everyone wants to see every one else achieve their goals and celebrate with them. It is a real family atmosphere with management and colleagues cheering you on. The company is fast paced and challenges you to reach your full potential, and for those that do it has amazing incentives and rewards which also keep everyone motivated from trips to Portugal or hot tubs! 

I would recommend everyone to work for Takepayments - it is like no job i have ever had before and i wish i had known about it sooner so i could have been part of the family earlier.

In the interview I was told the position was a sales role, its not, its just nine hours of soul destroying cold calling.  All the while constantly getting called out for unachievable call times.  Commission model is terrible.  Take Payments constantly talk about their core values for example grit, rewards truthful, happiness extra, these are empty platitudes that the company does not embody.   Huge staff turnover. This is something the management preach just to help them sleep at night.  Been lied to from the beginning from start to finish.  If you have the opportunity for Payment Executive do your self a favour and decline.  You get a 7 min break on a Friday for nearly a full shift.  Terrible.

When I first started at TakePayments I enjoyed the job, however that has drastically changed. 

This is the most disorganised place I have ever worked, job roles/duties are continuously changing, you’ll be told to focus on a particular area and in the next breath crucified for doing this.

In this company if you’re not in a direct sales role you are seen as less than and not important. Sales team are glorified, even though they are clear cases of them miss-selling the products and service to the customers to make their commission.

From a job I did once enjoy, I have been drained both physically and emotionally in this role.



It is all a screen of smoke, brainwashing and forcefed lies.
You are constanly on edge, not knowing where to go to get the help you need.
Resources are limited so is the training and access to information / procedures.
The pay is ridiculous for the amount of work you do, although they will pay over time, they will not aknowledge the extra hours you have to do to complete all the work they send your way.
The commission system is a joke and the rewarding system is abritrary.
They will promise you the world, use you and drop you. Simple.

All the bad reviews that you see here are all true. Reaching out to management to discuss your financial struggles and the following week you get dismissed. 
The role is 100% cold calling - none is warm.
I know so many people that have had a bad experience here and have had worse experiences than me.
Managers don’t reach out to you directly but embarrass you on a group chat
The money is nothing as described 

I have been here for 3 years and enjoyed every minute. It is fast paced and you are encouraged to reach your full potential everyday and the rewards for doing so are great! The working environment is set out to be fun and plenty of friendly competition with your colleagues. Plus support is always easy to find when you need it.

Clear favouritism exists . They will try to tell you it doesn’t but when the head of call centre ensures her best mates get the best leads it’s obvious. It’s very unprofessional. HR are no help at all. It isn’t a good place to support mental health nor a good place to support people with disabilities such as ADHD or Autism. It’s not what you know it’s who you know at this company. 

Take Payments is a brilliant company to work for, the way we have all been treated during the COVID-19 period has been amazing, full training is given and all you're employees make you feel safe and secure, management is brilliant, salary is brilliant with amazing commission benefits, a very flexible company with amazing incentives and rewards
