What is the best part of working at the company?
When I joined Takumi, I was just looking for a job to support my family and settle in a new country. I was not thinking about career growth at that time, even though I had degrees. What I found here was much more than just a job.

I started on the production floor and was welcomed by a supportive team that helped me learn step by step in the Press Department. Shortly after, I had the opportunity to grow within the company and move into different roles. This journey helped me understand the company from different sides and build strong connections with people at all levels.

The workplace itself is clean, organized, and well-structured. Clear policies, rules, and procedures make a big difference — you always know what to do and how to do it properly. It creates a comfortable and respectful environment to work in.

What makes Takumi special for me is the ability to grow within the company, learn, succeed, and collaborate together. It is also the way the company brings people together. Events organized by the Social Committee, like Family Day and Christmas activities for kids, create a connection beyond work. It is nice to share this part of life with your family and let them see where you spend your 8 hours every day.

For me, Takumi became a place where I was able to grow, learn, and feel part of a team. I am grateful for the opportunities I received here and proud to be part of it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I have not experienced any stressful part here.

Takumi is a fast-paced environment that demands a quota that needs to be filled hourly. 
The problem is that the welding machines are always malfunctioning, which makes it extremely difficult to meet the ridiculous quotas.
The maintenance team seems completely oblivious as to how to fix them. 
The management knows full well of the conditions for the workers, yet they do absolutely nothing to remedy the situation, yet they blame the workers for not meeting their quotas.
The team leaders at the St Thomas branch seem to be struggling with mental health issues on an hourly basis, (A- shift) and they take out their problems on the workers. 
Many people have quit working for this company due to a lack of pay, and ridiculous demands that are impossible to fulfill. 
Most people quit, however, due to the lack of respectful management.
The co-workers at Takumi were amazing and very enjoyable to work with.
They made my time there far more tolerable.
The management system definitely needs to do a thorough cleanse, and then it would be a great environment to work in.

It is just a matter of time before something seriously bad happens here. They have their own inconsistent rules. Their orientation is outdated and missing some major key factors. Management is two faced- tell you one thing in your face and make up whatever story to get them through the day no matter who they hurt in the process. There were some really awesome people don't get me wrong. The amount of bullying that is avoided and googling from the internet to get information isn't the proper way to run a business. Most of the upper management do not have the skills requited to run in a safely. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. They literally hire anyone off the street so the targets are never met and it is always the workers fault. On top of all that- management is a pure favourites game so if you not liked by one of them they will let you go.

Work was good, and so were the team members (both hourly and salary).
Management very poor. Things are made up on the fly, and management blames the worker after they provide instruction. 
They run the Safety culture from things found on the internet, not from trained, schooled, certified people.
When a team member is injured they blame the worker, not the poor safety practices they adhere to.
Upper management is terrible. I would not recommend this place for anyone serious about safety.

I operate a press, check parts for quality, and put the parts in the racking.  I use the overhead crane to moves dies and coils.  I've learned how to work fast while doing the job properly to meet deadlines.  The management team is great at Takumi, they are always involved with the production.  We work as a team to make everything go smooth.  I love operating a press, as it is a good experience because you need to troubleshoot the machine to make sure it is running the best that it can.

Every team leader i interacted with was rude from the start. they drop so much stuff on you the first day and expect you to remember it all. you are only given one 10 min break and one 20 min lunch, which is legal but shows how much they value their workers. 
The wage is also very low for the work that you do there which usually is the exact same thing, at the exact same machine for your whole shift.

Just dont work here theres tone of hetter places where youll be paid more and actually taught to be something other then a mindless robot. The supervisors at the start will be friendly but that changes very quicj

Overall the place was okay I was only there for 3 days they have two breaks 10 minutes and  20-minute break but don't let that deceive you its  actually 7 minute break and a 17 minute break for an 8 hour shift. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their break time because it is non-existent

Shifts are 8hrs paid lunch and break.
Company offers a great benefit package.
2 weeks days 2 weeks afternoons.
Yearly raise is based on attendance no more than 2%.
Co-workers are great but young.
Have very little to do with management,but HR is awesome when needed.

Overall it was a good workplace as I learned a lot about welding and worked in a fast pace work environment. I also received lock out training and was given different tasks to do such as cleaning machines etc. I out away parts as well as took my parts to the shipping area.
