Being a born and raised hard working Calgarian from Alberta, I always felt like an outsider in my home province working at Talon Energy. Almost all of their employees and management are from eastern Canada and most of them didn't hesitate to voice their hate of Alberta and anyone, or anything from Alberta.   

Thoroughly enjoyed working for this company. It was interesting challenging and rewarding.  Learned much from the executives and office team.   Great environment.

This was a very rewarding experience with Talon Energy. I learn a lot from my time spent with them.  Although it was a short term job they were very optimistic about future work.

Management wasn't very good, they took advantage of workers.
I learned some new stuff about shutdown, Co-workers were very nice, the hardest part was no clear directions.

install electrical equipments, tranformers, motors, switch gear, lights and cable trays,
pull cable, wiring, glanding and terminating
grounding and bonding

I worked For Talon For almost 6 years and they are an amazing company Driven by amazing people.We were always treated well and compensated for our work.

Great place to work. Learned new techniques and was helpful in helping other workers. great benefits like good salary, and mostly helped with flights. Great place to work!

I was very well paid but found the work very unchallenging .The rotation was 2 and 1 and I found with my travel I had no time at home to bond with my children.

I worked with talon for a few months.They were a good crew to work with. We were at the cnrl  project. that place haven't changed much. I enjoyed my time with them.

Worked in a camp job with them doing plant construction, relatively small crew that got along.  Friendly management fair pay.
