I've been working at Tantalus Labs for six months now, and I can confidently say that it's one of the best companies I've ever worked for. The senior management team is transparent, supportive, and always supporting for ways to improve the workplace culture and employee well-being.

The work environment is positive, collaborative, and focused on teamwork. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and I appreciate that they take the time to celebrate employees' unique backgrounds and perspectives.

Compensation and benefits are fair and competitive for the industry and location, and the company offers several perks, including health and dental insurance, and paid time off.

Overall, I would highly recommend Tantalus Labs as an employer for anyone in the production industry. It's a company that truly cares about its employees and the environment, and it's a pleasure to work here.


Tantalus is a really great place to work at. The people here are amazing and some of the most inclusive, friendly and kind people you will ever meet. They really make the job fun. 

While there are some issues with management, that is to be expected with a start-up organization. Recent restructuring within the company and changes to HR demonstrates that the company does care about its employees and is striving to be better. The new HR person is also really receptive, friendly and approachable.  

The job can be a little overwhelming as a result of the fast paced nature of the cannabis industry and due to tight turnaround times, but there's lots of opportunities to advance if you're a hard worker. 

There's also tons of fun little perks like a quarterly credit for free cannabis, monthly birthday celebrations, random snacks and other fun activities like group outings.

I've worked for Tantalus Labs just under 8 months and it has been a very fulfilling experience. Despite what you see in the past reviews, this company has cleaned up its act and started to value its team members. Despite the valuable and wonderful experience I've had with Tantalus, I have to resign early due to personal reasons that have nothing to do with the work. The people you work with are friendly and supportive. I'd highly recommend working here if you get the chance. The work may be tedious and monotonous, but it does get the bills paid. The people are great to work with and you can listen to music to pass the time while working.  

The employees are great people. The management is a mess/unorganized, does not take employees issues into account. HR doesn’t have time/doesn’t care to help employees, very unsympathetic, cutthroat, corporate, & money driven. Was once my family but was destroyed the minute HR started letting people go “without cause”. As soon as money became an issue, they had no problem letting go of even the most hard working employees. One minute I’m fully employed support myself, and the next I’m completely jobless! I’ve done more for this company than HR ever has, and so have my fellow employees. It’s time to acknowledge the little employees that go unnoticed! They do all the work, and would not be a company without them.

Wouldn’t recommend working for this company to anyone. Management is unorganized and unprofessional. HR will never take anything you say seriously. This company utilizes workers that don’t speak English and falsely labels product. They hire  many employees and fire them before probation is up. They are the lowest paying LP out there. The employees are the best part of working here, they are the friendliest, most welcoming people you’ll meet.

They will make you work for months promising a raise or advancement and will never give you it. They talk behind backs and everything is very disorganized. If you have an issue with someone HR will not take you or anyone else seriously. They pay the lowest of any LP in the area and over work their staff and throw you around all day long. The only pro is the co workers, they are the friendliest most inclusive people you will ever meet. 

A company with plenty of potential but squandered on poor managment from the CEO down. Zero leadership or acountability for managment overall, work culture felt forced and un honest to what it claimed to be. Favoritism also runs rampant in almost all departments as well. And if you tried to speak up to issues within the work place you were alienated or ignored.

Decent enough starter job in the weed industry. If you wanna be screwed around and get .25 cent raises every six months then tantalus is for you. The people that work there are fabulous, but management is so lack lustre. The owner never shows up to check on anything he’s just there for the money. They tend to hire people during the busy periods and then fire them before their probation ends with no reason.

The team at Tantalus is 5 stars, great people who are passionate about their craft. There's been lots of restructuring in the management team that allows for growth and a more standardized hierarchy, there's still room to grow but I feel they're on the right track. Overall if you're passionate about cannabis and want to work in the field, this is the place to be!
