You will be at work for very long hours, although you will probably not actually be working the entire time, as you are driving for a movie or TV show, so there is often not a lot to do while filming is going on, but at the beginning and end of the day, as well as if there is a mid-day move, you will be very busy at that time and under considerable pressure to get things done as quickly and safely as possible.

Not a year round job, you have to put a lot of your salary away for the slower times!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This job is not for everyone, long days, if you have a young family this job is not good for you!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start 6:00am work most of the day. The day doesn’t stop until everything is done ! You get fed two times per day, with brakes when you need them!

Teamster155 is one of the best union jobs going with a very respectable background with careers that can take you into retirement. They have many courses and skills to learn with this industry .Long hours with good pay makes it the perfect job. All employees are equal which gives each and every person hired the opportunity to move up to the next level.They supply you with PPE needed .Catering is great and location s are accessible by bus or car.

Same as Multiple Production Companies, Teamsters Local 155 is the Union I belong to, I am currently a Group One member as there are also Group Two members and Permittees. .I usually am name requested by the Production Companiy's Security Captain who is also a Group One member of Teamsters Local 155 or dispatched by the Union on a Seniorty call.

Once you're in, film industry offers good pay and flexibility. The hours can be insane though. But that also means bigger pay checks.  
Every show is different. And if you are rigging you get regular 12 hours work shifts.  If youre  working on set it can mean 19 hour days... It isn't for the faint of heart 😂.  

I really enjoyed my time with the Teamsters. Met alot of interesting people. When the movies were busy the money was good. The reality of the movie industry is that it goes boom and bust very quickly so there is no job security for drivers and security. I worked in both fields with the Teamsters.

The job is listening to people complain about being overworked and being a punching bag for your superiors. Don’t believe what you see on tv about the industry and how toxic it is? Come work for local 155 and find out.

Wonderful team, long hours and ever changing challenges. Troubleshooting skills where used daily and ever situation was approached with a can do attitude. No issue was too big. or too small and everyone did their utmost to provide the best service possible.

It was amazing place. Long hours but always fun. They feed you all day. Eork hard and advance fast. If you get on with a good crew it turns quickly into your extended family. If it wasnt for fake covid I would still be there. 

I loved night shifts and I crossed over to day shifts and that’s even better but I’m always into making money and surviving and getting ahead. It’s a good job and lots to do while u work.
