1.	Miserable employees/co-workers: Some of the employees in this department are DYING for the throne. So, the best way for them to feel entitled is to boss you around and talk negatively about your performance amongst their pairs and management just so they can LOOK good. They don’t just boss anyone around they boss the newbies around, train them and then judge/ discuss the newbies intelligence with other.  But keep in mind they are just as BAD in their own special way. These are individuals that are very miserable in their personal life and work is the only excitement they receive in their lives. If you think there is only one manager, you are wrong. There is about 2 or 3 managing the department in their own way as well.

2.	Rapid employee turn over: This simply means poor leadership and low employee engagement or unrealistic expectations. This company will replace you in seconds, promote and then fire you 3 months later after the probation period unless you’re a favorite. They have several 6- or 9-months contract position with full time employment opportunity but that’s only if they feel like it or only if its within their budget otherwise your contract will get renewed over and over. The contract renewal can go up to 2 years and this does not include benefits! Job security will only last so long.. don’t get too comfortable.

3.	Unfair department practices/ Unfair policies: If you are in the customer service or customer experience department you WILL be treated as such. This is with pay, activities, engagement, perks, conferences etc. You will see how non-important you are compared to many other high valued departments. Customer service will not be included in everything. Why? Because you are just a customer service representative. You are not an Accountant or someone of higher power and they will make that known. You will get the crumbs. If something isn’t enforced for other departments it will certainly be enforced for customer service. Zero equality there, they fail to realise how much work is done in that department for the company, which makes the big boss rich and richer every year. If that’s what you like? Join the team!

4.	Taking advantage/ Being used: The customer service side of the business love when you do more than what you are told to do. If you go above and beyond, you will be a manager’s favorite. Because now they can assign you to way more work and use you to their advantage. These individuals complain all the time and are afraid to use their voice. This is very toxic and can affect an individual mentally and its an overall bad look. Because instead of training folks that are already there, they would rather dump everything on one person instead just to get the numbers up and make the work load lighter. That’s terrible and poor management 

5.	Covid-19: Covid-19 practices are not being followed. Other than hand sanitizer and facemask, no one is really 6 feet apart. Your work desk is not far from your co-workers desk. They have the no-mask at your desk rule, but if you sneeze you can easily spread your germs to the next person. Now this isn’t a big deal for most managers because they have their own office away from all the germs.  This company will force you in the office no matter what personal issued you have at home. At the end of the day, you are just a customer service representative, therefore you have no say.


Great work culture, but terrible pay. This company likes to shuffle people around just to fire them in the near future. I've noticed that they promote people just to replace the old positions with a contract position to save money. They fire great people to replace them with folks for less pay to save money. The tools aren't as good as they seem, Customers complain about them daily. Very defective tools.. wouldn't recommend. Raises are not the best. Work, life, balance does NOT exist in all departments, which is unfair. Management and professionalism is terrible especially in the Customer service department. Many co-workers are fake and manipulative like in any other job. Managers do not acknowledge their employees in the morning face to face but want all the work done. There is way more work to be done than what is listed on the job description, you will end up doing work equivalent to 2 or 3 people without a proper pay. There's a lot of favoritism with employees who have been with the company for years compared to the new employees, everyone should be treated equality and this is not the case in the Milwaukee department. There is room for growth within the company if you are a favorite or related to an employee within the company. If you have personal issues that may effect your working performance, it will not be taken seriously by management unless you are  appreciated and a well respected employee, otherwise your problems do not matter. There is  a lack of leadership and encouragement for difficult times especially during the pandemic. Forget about your mental health, this is not something the company will take into consideration. Some employees who have been with the company for years would make a great manager due to their amazing leadership and work ethic which often goes under valued.  If you work for this company , be sure to do the work for the little pay that  you are getting and do not overwork yourself because  it will not be acknowledged or appreciated no matter how long you have been with the company. This company will not be enough to sustain your cost of living in this very expensive lifestyle unless you are a big CEO, Director, a good Manager or President.

I love this job at Techtrinic Industries. The company culture is amazing. And if your a negative person who likes to be toxic and bring a team down they will weed you out fast which is a complete positive. Management is amazing, higher executives take the time to talk to every employee no matter what level you are. Benefits are amazing with a brand new F-150, brand new iPhone and laptop. Full medical benefits. The job itself is easy for what your paid. I haven't met a single person in this company that hasn't been supportive of me and if you work hard you will be rewarded. I highly recommend this job to anyone and it's a great way to enter the job world and get some sales experience and save some money. The room for growth is also great because they primarily hire internally so your not competing with the outside job force and employees that move up already have essential product knowledge and training. I love going to work everyday and this is a true gem in the job market.

Tyrannical bosses, micromanagement, toxic work environment. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Working at this company felt like being inside a deeply toxic environment built on fear, politics, and constant pressure. There was a strong culture of workplace bullying, scapegoating, and undermining, where employees often felt isolated rather than supported. Communication was inconsistent, leadership dynamics constantly shifted, and it felt like people were more focused on power struggles than teamwork. Over time, I realized the environment no longer aligned with my values or the kind of professional I wanted to become. Leaving ended up being the healthiest decision for my personal growth, mental clarity, and long-term career direction.

I have been with TTi now for almost 4 weeks and since day one the culture, atmosphere and work perks have been absolutely amazing.  This opportunity gives you the chance to become a mini-franchise owner (so it feels). They give you all the tools and knowledge to be organized and successful in your position. Having an entrepreneurial background & mindset is a must. You need to be able to work this position like a business - those who can adapt that mindset right away will be noticed and climb the later to higher wages and more opportunity quicker than those who dont. This position is definitely worth considering. I' am very excited to be apart of the massive growth TTi is experiencing company-wide.

I started with the business as a Field Sales Representative. the environment was always positive and I worked hard to receive the two internal promotions I received afterwards. it's rare to find a company like this that gives you opportunities to grow. Always had/have good supervisors and management guiding me. The entry level roles are in place for you to get comfortable with the product knowledge and learn/enhance many other skills as well. The internal training is not offered by many companies so it's nice to see TTI reinvests in their employees. As a female maybe I dealt with very few awkward customers but everyone internally never made me feel any different.

The leadership and management team know where they are going and I believe in their vision. 

The company displays absolutely stunning alignment at all levels, especially with the Milwaukee Division.

The only exception I can think of is the salary as it does not match job duties.

I would work there for a living and for the learning opportunity (i.e. priority management, communication, working under pressure, technical selling, training workshops and continuous development). 

Not to make a fortune.

The culture here at TTi is incredible! Positivity and teamwork is preached across all levels in the company. There is plenty of opportunity for career advancement and a number of different routes you can take. For most new hires they do require you start in a Field Sales Role—-after that it’s up to you to decide where you’d like to move up in the company. Management is very supportive and genuinely want you to succeed and move up. This has been a life changing opportunity for myself, and would recommend ANYONE to apply and be apart of this growing and industry leading company. 

Pay is low, home depot employees do not want to work, home depot management team is always changing which makes your job harder, many of them are very rude too.  Plus your hard work will actually go unnoticed, and anyone saying otherwise is either a manager or higher up. The reason I joined was because I literally had no other option on the table. I had a bad manager towards the beginning but eventually got a better one later on. Out of 5 people I asked “are you currently searching for jobs” here with TTI - 4 said yes and 1 said no. Not because TTI is “bad” but because home depot is terrible and healthy (mentally and physically) place to work.

Company is growing very quickly, so lots of upward mobility. This is a pro and a con, as people are moving jobs every 3 months to 1 year. This makes it challenging for leadership to keep consistency within their teams and to stay on track with customer relationships.

Great opportunity to develop strong sales/marketing experience, however the ability to learn and grow does slow down after your first few roles.

As a woman, the company culture is best described as a boys club. Virtually all leadership and executive roles (outside of HR) are filled by men.
