Honestly it took 2 months before the companies inability to organize itself or have any semblance of competency made working their unbearable. Id say 50% of the commercial stops I was assigned had no correspondence informing them of the appointment, flat out had cancelled services months if not years ago, or just were no longer open. Access to the tools to complete assignments was always a hassle and most of the time appointments had to be rescheduled purely due to the fact you couldn't access the tools needed to complete it. Their Ottawa Community Housing contract is a joke and they lose everyone to the in house pest control services of OCH consistently due to poor pay and job atmosphere. They watch you like a hawk with in truck camera, GPS and daily mileage reports that need to be to sync with the exact route or you get a call asking what happened every day(Traffic, closed road, anything that changes it by even 1KM). Management has no clue what they are doing and provides almost no assistance other than a "There's money to be made in commissions here so sell sell sell" then not providing you with any tools so you end up looking completely foolish having to contact every customer and explain why their services need to be pushed back by sometimes weeks at a time.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I’ve worked at a number of pestcontrol companies his place was total chaos  they were being sold torentokill at the time and their major customer toronto community housing was joining u with Toronto housing  as a result everyone was afraid of losing their jobs due to cuts to exsessive spending  so my expoeriences there reflect my opinions

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Toronto housing tenants do not cooperate with the pestcontrol technicians.  Pestcontrol tech who do not do or know how to do a proper job. Jealousy and not helping the new guy fit in   

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pestcontrol techs who rather work alone and not train new people or accept ideas from other companies  when a treatment for pests does not work it’s blame it on the techs when it’s also sanitation and building repairs to blame

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Ur assigned to treat a number of units  get them all done which can be difficult if tenants do not cooperate and let u inside

They offer $600 bonus on monthly salary if you have
no account cancellations on your route for the month
but you would magically have  accounts assigned to your route that just canceled or is canceling before 
you even had a chance to service account. 
This is why this bonus was rarely given to any
Technicians. (Apparently $ is needed to give as a bonus to person cumming up with these great ideas)

Endless xtra obligations put on technicians but never
talk of increase in compensation or salary.

This place may seem nice at first, nice people managers who seem to know what they are doing, but that's all just a front to get you in the door. Once you're in they will forget about you and treat you as if you dont matter to them. They with hold commissions from you that you worked hard to get. You will be yelled at by office staff and thrown under the bus by management any chance they get. To get stock you have to work around one person's schedule, which doesnt sound bad, but when you order your stock on a Wednesday morning and get told itll be ready on the following Tuesday afternoon.the amount of pay you make is not nearly close to the amount of work you will be doing. This company is only about making money, they don't care for the employee or the customer.

Even as an experienced technician it’s a tough go management burned out customers can be difficult it’s the nature of the job applying pesticides in living quarters nobody shows the tech any respect  but u get a free truck to use then u save ur money and buy ur own vehicle to get to a better job  good job for a young uneducated guy starting out save ur money the get out of Dodge city and find better do not talk back to no one take it on the chin much better jobs will come along

As a former employee of Terminix I would never have recommended anyone to work for them.I had a very bad experience I worked for insight pest solutions and it was brought out by Terminix.They lied to all there employees and customers by having the techinicans give a letter saying that services would remain the same.Then little by little they cut down services no more mole,or flea and tick services

They expect you to overwork yourself day in day out and with an office with 6-7 people working you find yourself even working after your shift is done to ensure you're not overloaded the next day. Managment doesn't care at all about its employees. I think I got a $0.25 raise after bringing in $50-75k of new business for the company. Leaving this job was the best decision I ever made. 

This company is not for you.This company will put you in situations where you are a disadvantage and set you up for failure all while telling you to your face that they’re here for you. The only positive thing I can say is that the people that work for this company are really good as in coworkers but the managerial team needs tons of work

If you want to work for a place that won't train you and expect you to excel, this is the place.  Horrible upper management. They have never been in the field but expect you to do it quickly. Who cares what the customer wants. 

Management is completely lost!  Employees break the law constantly.  The place and the employees have a 90% JOKE rate!  Can't get paperwork in order.  Misapplication of dangerous chemicals.  Techs get 30++ units a day to treat - can't do good work when each unit gets 3 mins. work from 'professional'.
