My Experience at Go Auto Terrace Ford Lincoln:
I left Go Auto Terrace Ford Lincoln due to a work environment that didn’t align with the company’s stated values of support and inclusivity. During my time there, I often felt unwelcome and unsupported. The management style was heavily micromanaged, and communication was inconsistent.

It seemed that the management team had favourites within the organization, and new hires were sometimes treated more like numbers than valued team members. 

The company invests in orientation videos highlighting their culture and values, but unfortunately, these ideals weren’t consistently upheld in practice.

When seeking help, my requests were often dismissed, and managers tended to avoid direct engagement. The high employee turnover rate was noticeable, which I believe is a reflection of these systemic issues.

As a salesperson, I found that I had limited control over the sales process, and getting answers to questions was challenging due to the management structure.

If you’re considering joining the organization, I encourage you to be aware of these potential challenges. However, I also want to emphasize that there are many opportunities in the auto industry where you can find a work environment that aligns with your values.

My Advice: Don’t give up on finding the right fit. There are plenty of opportunities out there that will support your growth and align with your values.

As a former Sales Consultant with the company, I found the commission-based pay structure incredibly rewarding, providing a direct correlation between my efforts and financial compensation. The role required exceptional organization and people skills to make the most of the sales leads, a challenge that honed my abilities considerably. The management team was fantastic, consistently supportive and offered invaluable mentorship, helping me to grow in my sales skills. Keep in mind there will be slow weeks which make you feel as if you're working for no pay, then there will be days where you work 12 hours a day 6 days a week. If you're a highly motivated individual who thrives in a performance-based setting, this role offers a substantial potential for success. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of my coworkers were the only best part here because management has no clue how to operate their business.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having no support, doing 5 jobs at once and not getting appropriately compensated for it.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is hostile. You get promised the world and end up just getting crapped on.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come in to have 7 different people in an emergency and needing help asap but you are only one person.

Very disorganized environment and because of this staff turnover is extremely high, and they are understaffed at all times. There is a lot of inexperienced staff who are making other people's job more difficult than needed. When hired, my experience was clearly stated to the manager and training was promised. However that was not the case. This place sets you up for failure. Highly don't reccomend this dealership or any go auto affiliate dealerships.

Terrible company to work for bad all around.

Terrible place to work they over work you and pay bad.

Go Terrace Ford Lincoln makes me feel like this is a family we constantly check in on each other even in different departments and everyone here is super friendly and super helpful my management team is hoping to see me excel further than this position which is amazing, and everyone is helping me learn more about the vehicles we sell! 

Lots of micro management, and not much consideration to their employees. Favoritism toward certain employees over others. It’s about management making money and no care to employees. 
Lots of managers with different views. Each tells you something different than the other. 


I have learned a lot about cleaning cars and how to clean them and keep the paint protected. I was able to talk to customers and sales representatives and had an experience that I enjoyed at Terrace Ford Lincoln

All they care about is making money and will do what ever they need to do to make it! Your kids sick? They don’t care and make you feel horrible for it!
