A typical day at work was to go in and see what machine I was running. Retrieve the paperwork and make my way to designated work area. 
I would start up the CNC machine and ensure each part was within the specified tolerance using different measuring tools including caliper, three point bore, micrometer and bench gauges. 
After verifying the part was either in spec or not, if not I would make necessary offsets to machines computer program. I would run the machine to hit each hourly target while maintaining each measurement. 
My shift managers were very friendly and had the respect of every employee. They worked alongside the workers and did not stay hidden in the office. They treated each employee equally and made sure everyone had what they needed and kept a clean work area. 
Co-workers were friendly and helpful although some would complain a lot and expect more for choosing to overextend themselves. It was a male-dominated workplace also, so there was the occasional male who would make inappropriate comments towards myself as a female, either for my looks or for working in a place a female does not belong. 
The hardest part of my job was the knowing I would be going in and doing the same repetitive job with no challenges or advancement. It was difficult knowing I was doing twice the work of some people yet made less than them. 
The most enjoyable part of my day was the satisfaction that I had made more parts than the shift rate, with no scrap. I would compete with myself every hour to get more parts that hour and keeping a nominal measurement.

My day would consist of operating two machines along with inspecting each part that I was responsible for and making sure I met my daily targets for machine parts.
I learned how to operate specific machinery along with performing tool changes when necessary. I also learned the importance of health and safety and followed each rule very diligently. 
My co-workers for the most part were good people however like any company there are employees your not always going to see eye to eye with.
The hardest part of the job was my first 2 weeks. I got thrown into the water to either swim or drown and it was a bit nerve racking because I hadn't had much factory experience prior to working at Teutech.
Was being able to laugh with the guys I worked directly with and also when the company would show appreciation by buying pizza on a Friday for the employees.

The people are great to work with. Thats probably why i stayed for 5 years. The employees are not treated like they should be. There is no advancement within the company and no seniority whatsoever. 15 year vets get laid off while "rookies" get promotions because of bias circumstances. Other than the benefits they  offer there is no sure financial stabitlity. Not a bad place by any means, but not one i would boast about.

I’ve seen people let go so management can hire friends and family. Thought this was Canada???  I’ve seen senior people let go and replaced with same. I worked hard at teutech and felt like it mattered. Now it’s The high tech gears and it is completely changed. 



supervisors don't have a clue what they are doing the place is turning in to Linamar need I say any more. typical day involves arguing with supervisor over him breaking rules and other employee's

I was promised a full time role, i assisted with streamlining of processes.  Cleaned up months of receivers that where not reconciled.  Instructed coworkers how to complete certain tasks.

The work was monotonous because I was on the same operations every day. The work I did was too heavy to not share with other workers. The boss was too drunk and lazy to train other people on job.

Was treated decent until my boss got fired. Then they wanted numbers the machines couldn't possibly produce so I was next up!!! What a horrible place I tell ya! Not sure how their still in business???

This company is easy to work for, fun atmosphere as well as good wages. I would recommend this company for anyone looking for a great job, the company was bought out by the-hi-tech gears and they are great as well

Everyone there is very understanding most of the time and they respect others and do not look down on you because they are in a higher potion then you. Its a good place to work. Great sense of humour.
