I work for Cerum Ortho the Orthodontics division and I have good things to say about this company. Its one of the best companies I've worked for so far and I will explain why. From the get go I was given the opportunity to show my worth through my work and I felt acknowledged for that. I've been promoted for that reason and was given the opportunity to reach new heights and challenges in my career. The company is highly invested in educating their employees and customers which is a great thing. There is a collaborative spirit within this company where we work as a team to solve our daily challenges and help each other succeed. The company culture is driven, fun and supportive and I recommend this company to anyone who is passionate looking for an industry with longevity and innovation, a dynamic company with a good company culture and who is willing to put in the work to make it happen.

I joined Cerum Ortho Aurum Group with little knowledge of the dental industry but with a drive to succeed and learn. The education and knowledge needed to effectively communicate with leaders in this industry is steep but the training, support, and patience provided was top notch.

Aurum itself has multiple brands which do not often work in tangent with each other. More integration within the organization would be beneficial, especially if clients overlap.

The industry is competitive so consistent dedication to work ethic is needed. Be prepared to travel often, work weekends, and attend courses while also increasing knowledge, building substantial relationships, and having the support needed to succeed and feel accomplished.

A typical day consists of whatever my manager(s) have assigned me, but they've always been open to adjusting what it is I could be working on, allowing e to incorporate my own ideas or elements into the assignment(s) at hand. Management is also very open and supportive in regard to whatever it is you may voice out to them, and a mostly relaxed workplace culture allows me to really thrive with what I do. The hardest part of the job depends on what it is I'm doing; the whole company is taking feedback into consideration and I, along with my manager(s), are working hard to increase our company reach and ensure employees, like me, feel more seen and heard. That being said, there is a lot still in progress, but I would recommend working here.

Working with The Aurum Group for a little over a year now, I could say that I value most the good relationships I built with my co-workers, almost everyone even in different departments are friendly, professional, and dependable. The culture and traditions of celebrating different life events despite on busy workdays are strong which I appreciate. The order of operations is very organized and well-thought, something that you would already expect from any big companies, it just amazes you when you are a part of it. The monthly computer training for cybersecurity is also essential to have.  Department meetings are also helpful and crucial in maintaining quality work that ensure everyone are on the same page. It was overwhelming at first especially if you have no experience in dental industry, but Aurum welcome you, train you enough, and challenge you to be able to do your work efficiently.

no team atmosphere, nobody works together, its everyone for themselves, including management, they don't care about their employees at all, you are not a person, you are just a part of the production line. shut up - do your work, and go home is kind of the attitude you get from management. 

its a dead end job, with no chances of advancement, no increase in wages, they pay bonus for production, so they use that as a reason not to increase hourly pay, "you make what you deserve" in regards to bonus, but your benefits are based on your hourly, so your benefits suck, and are not in line with your actual end wages. 

looking back it is such a toxic work environment, and I only know that now that I'm working elsewhere, and see how things can be, working with good management, and a good team now.

  

Had to leave a review after seeing a bunch of neggie ones. Aurum has a pile of different divisions. Cerum being one of them... and there's zero reviews here from anyone @ cerum. I've developed here & have been promoted many times. 

I've had extremely hard times, when I thought maybe it's not for me -- to wonderfully rewarding times... like being promoted to explore a whole new season in my career.  I wouldn't change a thing. This is coming from someone who can probably get a job at almost any dental company tomorrow.

To work here, isn't a walk in the park -- however, I don't think anyone wants that. IMO, it's attainable tough challenges that make for the best reward & cerum will give you that.

I really enjoy working at the Aurum Group! I work on various creative projects that I am assigned from my managers which makes every day exciting and fulfilling. Management communication is supportive with regards to the trajectory of certain projects that I work on. There are always new things that I am learning throughout my work and that can be hard at times but for the most part is extremely enjoyable and rewarding. I am very grateful to be apart of the Aurum team and would recommend working here.

One of the things I value most about working with The Aurum Group is the collaborative and supportive work environment. The team is always willing to help each other out, which fosters a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. Additionally, the company's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement ensures that we are always at the forefront of industry advancements. This not only enhances our professional growth but also allows us to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Poor training. Management doesn’t have patience to deal with a learning staff. They aren’t very comprehensible when it comes to work related or personal issues. Very little training without much support from management. Not good are lifting up their staff. Mostly make them feel belittled for not being as good as them. Other coworkers are super nice and love to go out as a group.

A typical day at work includes taking customer payments through the phone and making bank runs. I learned how to use Microsoft Dynamics Navision to record transactions. The management is friendly and always willing to teach. The hardest part of the job was staying late each month end to send out customer statements. The most enjoyable part of the job was the learning how to use the accounting system and creating relationships with our customers.
