What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of the people I met and it gave me enough experience to get a better job

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having to make monthly numbers and being forced to try and get people to take jobs they didn't want. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Old fashioned. Needing to check in and out at the beginning of the day. Old fashioned formal dress code (must wear jacket with collar)

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on your role. In my case several scheduled intakes and then trying to get people jobs.

It was difficult working with these people as they have no resources or tools to assist in what they ask of you. High results are always expected and you are dealing with the hardest people to employ at times. Management provides no support and are only heard from when you are not meeting your numbers. I'm super grateful to no longer work here. Some staff are awesome, like front desk

With promises of a career in construction, unionized positions and a fare wage, although alluring, all lies. They even handed my employer two new recruits to replace me right at the end of my six month contract when I was finally able to ask for a raise….awful; would give 0 stars if it were an option

Funded by government to help people find jobs so meeting targets and performance KPIs is always a main focus to keep doors open and get re funded by the funders. The work really does benefit the community and makes a difference in peoples lives. It's rewarding depending on what motivates you. Good work also gets recognized.  

If I could give 0 starts, I would. Senior management do not trust the frontliners and always micromanage by introducing stupid SharePoint and excels all the time. They expect you to complete tasks and do not give enough notice for the deadline. They ask you on Fridays to work on weekends to meet the targets. 

Everyone is very nice. Good working environment. But low pay and no career advancement, because that's how it is in a non-profit sector. It's a great place as a stepping stone to a career in full-cycle recruiting and to get experience in variety of industries.

I really enjoy working at The Career Foundation.  The other employees are very supportive and are will to take the time to help you in you're time of need,

This organization is unprofessional to such an extent. They claimed to be managers from Td when in reality they’re a government funding organization. I had a zoom interview with them in which I was totally ignored for a good 15 minutes. 

I worked at the Hamilton one during this summer as a summer student position and it was an awesome experience with even better staff. Everyone is hardworking and they truly want the best for their clients.

Good management and friendly environment which allows employees to interact well by themselves and the clients they serve on the daily basis, which leads to positive ooutcome
