The Cheesecake Cafe

A typical day was coming into the restaurant meeting with my management team and preparing myself for the night - specials, discounts, parties etc. Through working here I learned to time manage, think on my feet, problem solve, and communicate effectively not only with costumers but other workers and my management team. My fellow co-workers were fun helpful and all around respectful. The hardest thing about this job was the unknown hours as you may get sent home early or asked to stay late and with being a student this became difficult to prepare properly for my classes at times. The best part of this job was the fact I got to meet alot of great people both costumers and workers. Being able to work collectively as a team and enjoy it each time i entered my work was my absolute favourite.

The owner is far too involved in the business, without knowing anything about the business. KS minimum wage for front of house , and there is always a discrepancy about tips among the servers. the bartending job is the most difficult front-of-house position, but is not recognized as such with minimum wage, almost no tips, and a very high expectation schedule-wise. If you have a life, don't work at this place, because you won't have much of one for long.

I only worked here for a short time, but I will have forever friends from The Cheesecake Cafe. The guests were always pleased and our staff was very organized and worked great together. We made sure the customers left happy and it was our pleasure to go out of our way for our guests.

Management was also great, as they worked with our schedules and Loved to be apart of our lives as well as the guests restaurant visits.

I worked there for over two years as a Server and loved it.  Management was awesome and my fellow workers were great to hang out with.  They ALWAYS had my back and even rehired me.  The weekends were always busy and if you like to have fun, this is definitely a good place to work for.

I have loved working here for a long time; management works hard to create a positive work environment and it has paid off; typically as a hostess you are expected to organize seating and prepare tables for the next group of customers.

The cheesecake cafe is a wonderful place to eat and work. The managers care about their staff, and though it is a professional environment they still know how to lighten the mood. Loved working there, to far from my house.

Cheesecake Cafe is not somewhere that I would recommend people to work. The management is poor and treat the employees as if their concerns and opinions do not matter at all. Their lack of concern for the well-being of their employees is awful.

Working at the cheesecake factory teaches you how to treat guests and how to give them best experience

Worked for the Cheesecake, for over six years.  The Owner and Management are some of the nicest people I have ever worked with.  The food was great and had a lot of fun with my coworkers.

Great place to work with consultative management and helpful colleagues.  Friendly culture.  Pay is decent.  Baking is a tough job with lots of heavy lifting so be prepared.
