Enjoying where you work and being valued means a lot to me as an employee. It is fair and almost expected that previous employees would feel more negative towards a company who they no longer work for but hearing from an employee who is still committed I hope holds greater value. 
No one will deny that The Commonwell has changed over the years but there will be varying opinions on this, mainly because as we have grown others didn't want to. We have to try new things and learn new processes but that is what keeps people engaged.  
This company is dedicated to our team, protecting our insureds, building strong relationships, and caring about our communities. 
As an employee I know my team cares about me and I enjoy coming to work everyday. There is never a day I am not busy but I love that about my job. My manager has always been a strong support for family first so I never feel my work life interferes with my home life. 
Too often people are just a number but here I am person.

This was once a great company but has since lost touch with the things that made them special.  Good employees are leaving, the bad ones are in hiding and the corporate culture suffers.  

Leadership ranks have gone through a fairly high turnover rate in the past 24 months.  This would suggest questionable judgement at the top.  If only leadership practiced what they preached.  Regrettably, the turnover of staff isn't limited to top management.  All levels of staff are regarded as expendable and as a path to expense reduction.

It's sad and I hate writing this review.  It was once a fun place to work but it has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse.  Think long and hard before considering this as a place to work.

This company is great to work for. Leadership is really down to earth and make changes often based on employee input. The C.E.O. connects with employees often to check in. There is room to grow and move up within the company. The work from home option is fantastic and there is both great pay and a pension. The company really goes above and beyond to celebrate the work of the team.

A collaborative environment, which enables everyone involved to succeed.  We work together as a holistic team to meet the needs of our members.  What we learn is shared, collectively we become stronger.

Employee appreciation is fantastic, pre-COVID were company BBQ's, post-COVID an employee appreciation box of goodies.

Non management employees are wonderful, leadership team turning into a bureaucratic organization with a focus on numbers not its people. Was given opportunity to learn new processes but new ideas not always welcomed. Hard to see what was once a great company turn into a stock company.

Companies have to grow but the way the CEO has pushed out good employees is sad and cowardly.  Being led to believe this company is about it's people and not the money is not true.   Management has favorite employees and if you don't fit in, say goodbye. No such a thing as job security here, from mail room to V.P.

As far as the work went I really enjoyed that along with most of the other employees and clients we spoke to. I looked forward to coming into work every day. 
However I have never been at a place of employment who did not deal with workplace bullying from a long term employee to numerous past employees causing them to loss their jobs.

This Company has become a terrible  place to work, the stress levels are wild, you never know whether an employee  will be there the next day or not. They say we are one big family what a joke, they couldn't  care less. They set goals for employees  that can't  be met, they want you to fail. I wouldn't  suggest applying  for a job here.

This job was a temporary position where I Mainly focused on maintaining the Information Systems within the company. Although the people where, for the most part, friendly. Certain individuals caused a fair bit of stress by being too uptight.

The Commonwell is a great place to work.  Ever feel like you are just a number?  This certainly is not the case!  They value your opinion and take all feedback into consideration.  I have never been so proud to work for an organization.
